Just because orange is landed on more does not make them better. Those peasant neighbourhoods pay out so little. Regent Street for the win.

Pall Mall is a surefire winner with 'Advance to Pall Mall' in the chance pile.

We just cheat and have a cheeky money switches with the banker :) That or when you collect the box with the game, sneak out a few notes before the game starts.

(We even have a rule that says if money in the middle disappears and no-one notices, its theirs. But if they get caught they double it)
 
Monopoly should let you buy the prison and increase charges to reflect the growing privatisation of the prison sector... :D

Doesn't that kind of remove the only tiny element of fun...as ultimately you aren't even actually playing the game :p
 
Anybody else plays that all fines go into free parking and then the player that lands on it gets all the money?
 
I'm quite keen on owning all the train stations. 4 chances of getting £200 on every round and they only cost £800 to buy. You easily make your money back and a lot more.

But other than that, light blue, pink and orange are all pretty decent when hotelled up. Unlikely to get round that corner without hitting one of them.

I just hate the dreaded "repairs" card. :mad:
 
Through no scientific reasoning at all I would say the orange are the best.

This is just based off of the fact that people seem to land on those properties the most whenever I have played over the years.
