Those of you that have an XB1 and PS4. What console do you buy multiplats for and why?

Depends on performance. If it runs more smoothly on the PS4 - and games generally do - I'll buy it on that. XB1 is a nice bit of kit though - I prefer the controller and the new interface. I like the exclusives on both so I have to have both.

Those 4 rear paddle shifters. That would be great if you don't own a wheel and you're into bike/car/aircraft games. You can feed in the power or clutch and gears.
 
PS4 for me. The games generally look and run better on it. Plus I prefer my PS4 over my X1. Which is totally opposite to last gen as I preferred the 360 over the PS3.

Pretty much this to be honest.

Majority of games perform better on the PS4.
 
I have both and will generally buy my multiplat games on the PS4 as that's where most of my mates are. The exceptions will be the sports games like Fifa or NBA as I much prefer the Xbox One controller for sports games for some reason.
 
Since I own a PC... the simple answer is PC. But for games that aren't on PC or have bad PC ports, then probably PS4 since it usually has better performance (FPS/resolution/graphical settings). Otherwise for me consoles are for exclusives. Have all the systems and enjoy the benefits of each one, it's become a tad more affordable since Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
 
You should always pick the console that most of your friends play on. If that's not a concern pick the console that has the most exclusives for you.

After that it's a wash really.

Since you already have a PS4 and are scratching an itch. Either save up and buy the xbox one or forget about it.
 
I have both and i'll buy on PS4. Prefer the controller and using the PS4 in general. The One just infuriates me half the time.
 
I buy all my games on Xbox One.

PS4 gets used for, well nothing really. Did buy Super Star Wars and Last of Us but just can't get "into" the PS4 as I just prefer the Xbox One.

I game share with my son (although I buy all the games) so that is a huge factor.
 
PS4 for multiplats every time. XB1 almost always seems to have its games at lower resolutions, besides that's the only bit they (devs) tell you about, what they don't tell you is all the other graphical "downgrades" the XB1 version gets - if any, to keep the fanboys happy! - to keep the game at a steady playable frame rate, like texture filtering, AA, shadow quality etc etc

I'm not denying XB1 exclusives can look stunning like the recent Tomb Raider or Ryse but when it comes to multiplats: PS4.
 
I currently have a PS4 and love it! I have just ordered a Xbox One for the exclusive games I'm sure it will serve its purpose well.
 
Xbox for multiplayer games - both controllers are great but prefer the Xbox controller. Also my main gamer buddies are on the Xbone.

PC for single player.

Exclusives on the appropriate console.

Multiplats on the PS4 as they are pretty much always better, the xbone is getting slightly better in terms of usability but it's a messed up console that MS are trying to salvage. Just a pity Phil Spencer wasn't in charge from the start and not that idiot Don Mattrick it may have been a different story :(
