Totally serious post.
AW is, IMO, the best COD since BO1. I really enjoyed it.

The problems are still in HC. I'll be waiting for somebody as I know they're coming and they'll kill me before I've even seen them.

I was never one to believe that you get punished for a decent connection but it seems like you do in this game.

Got this game on Monday before the PS sale finished. Took some deliberating, as I didn't want it at all. My friend convinced me :/..

Its ok, definitely has the "COD Experience", frustrations, epic moments, not so epic moments. It would be nice tho if they did create a classic playlist where the jumping and wall running aspect was disabled. Search and Destroy just seems to be a rush now, gone has the days of taking time to check corners etc. Maybe that is too much time on CS tho
 
The jumping and wall running I find just gets you places quicker, it doesn't give you an advantage in a gun battle I find. Usually if someone is jumping towards me I position my crosshair to be where they land rather than trying to target them in the air. When wall running they seem very easy to kill.

I and 3 other mates are having the same thing - inconsistent pings up and down and then some glorious games were the game sits at 17-34ms ping and everything just clicks - when the connection is right this game is excellent.

For example last night over 5 TDM games my K/D average was 6.79, then all of a sudden you are in a lobby full of Germans, Spanish & Turkish players and the ping is shooting up and down and people are teleporting across your screen rather than running smoothly. That SMG that was previously melting people is now firing marshmallows.

I basically came on here today to ask if people in the UK that have played this over the last week since Double XP has finished and whether you are having the same issues we are - its so hit and miss and my PS4 is wired and in the DMZ and had no problems playing months of BF4 recently.

I asked on a US forum I frequent and no one was even talking connection or complaining about it.

So any of you fellow UK players having issues with lag and players zipping about the screen and becoming bullet sponges ?

The game seems so inconsistent, sometimes I'll run round a corner and get blasted so quickly that it seems unreal. As if they saw me well before I saw them so they had time to react quicker. I'm not sure if it's linked to latency or someone on speed!

I also have games where I have absolutely no chance in a firefight, the second someone appears on my screen I'm dead, like one bullet. I actually think that on my end my enemy hasn't even shot yet, but on his end he's ploughed a few shots in to me so my end makes a sound just to attempt to let me know that he has in fact shot something, it's that quick.

Other games I can run in to someone and go full Blades of Glory around them whilst shooting them and there's nothing they can do. There have been numerous instances where I've won a firefight and thought "there's no way in hell I should've won that" - but I did. Because I'm pro like that.
 
Well yeah of course, p2p gaming sucks, yet I thought they were doing 'dedicated' servers this time round?

Along with the PS4 becoming the choice for competitive CoD.

The netcode for this game is ****e. No way is this ready for any competitions.
 
I've noticed more and more people (youtubers in particular) moving towards PS4 for COD, any reason for this?

Been out the game for a while, just got an XB1 and enjoying playing this casually at home :)

That bit was brilliant. I know what you mean tho, changes from game to game i find, frustrating but as someone said, its COD. If this happens, I find myself just turning it off instead of raging like when I was younger. I like to think that is me maturing :D
