I like the Merc C class personally and I'm in my 30's

I would buy one but I've only had my UK lisence for a few months and can only get a 1l piece of Shiite because of insurance costs even though I've been driving in Oz for 20 years grrr

Nothing wrong with the C Class either, especially cabin wise: full leather, auto cruise, satnav ect. Excellent
2nd hand models available if you put the time and effort in to source.

I used to vaguely know someone who had an excellent reputation in his field and was rich as a result. Rich enough to buy and use any production car, certainly. He could have bought half a dozen supercars from his spare money. He drove a decades old Citroen DS because he liked it.

But the OP does have a point, since there are many people who judge by appearances and that does include the car a person drives.
