Well considering it dulls the senses and opens the person up to suggestion/manipulation/gullibility, I'd say it's a valid point. Not 100% correlation obviously though.

Suppose, it depends on how the material is treated or taught as you know. A lot of these fighters in the middle-east are on hard drugs too. They are very naughty muslims.
All the greatest scientists had/have religion or believed in some sort of spirit or God.

That's the main issue with torture you can get anyone to say whatever you want just to make it stop.

yes they have, as have I, whilst achieving things people told me I coudnt (theres plenty of people on this forum who would argue against if this were not true, but I would be nice if they did at least say hi

The guy who made the big bang theory for a start, Newton, Planck, Einstein was a pantheist, countless muslims scientists with funny names from the Golden Age who invented methods and math in addition to the research gathered from far and a wide.

And for the record I never believed 9/11 was a conspiracy from the start despite my friends telling me to watch videos about it for years after. I refused cos they mentioned words like illuminati and such and I thought it was a load of hooey. As things have transgressed and we are in a perpetual state of war, I have started to look at other sources for news and views. Who's gona be the "next bad guy to take down cos they don't like freedom"?

All of them had reasons, thoughts, evidence, so much that islam, or any other religion lacks, every time, you present evidence agains whatever god you enter into this game, turns out you are something. The part that bothers me the most, is that no matter how close to me you are, you will not discuss it.

If you believe God brought the universe into existence you can't have evidence what so ever against it, no matter what you do. The key is to believe God exists beyond all space and time and places mathematical and physical constructs for us to measure and understand how the universe works. What came before the big bang? The problem with your perspective of religion is that it has been tainted over time with imagery, blame and misuse. All things Islam consider to be wrong exactly for those reasons.
I have been very fortunate, for my parents to be as disagreeable as they were and are, had little interest in religion, I found it for myself. I attended Christian church, Sunday school as a young man, I found It very interesting, I always loved the ceremony it brought, the closure, funerals were a particular favourite. I have a god, it is the god of the universe, maybe we are not so far apart, I know the god of the universe and I know from experience that this god loves me, but it is so far from this idea you, or any other human would have of god, that he has told me as much as to hate everything that is the human construct that is islam or any other of the three Abrahamic faiths, you are so wrong it seems alien to me that you could think this way, but I believe in something bigger than this and I have to give you a chance
You're probably a pantheist like Einstein then. That's fine, better to believe in something then nothing at all.
