My first impressions were how light and big it is, it feels huge, but only 1cm taller than a 920. To be honest I preferred the weight of the 920, felt like a tank.

Missing a few features like the linked inbox, but that's going to be in an update apparently.

I missed the double tap to wake ............. until I tried the iris scanner, that I'm very impressed with.

Linked inboxes is back in the insider builds.

Also those who wanted here maps/transport etc. Nokia have said they will be back on soon. Technical issues apparently, sounds odd to me, but at least they'll be back for those who want them.

550 can now be had for 59, but not sure if 640 is better value even at 79, with sometimes dropping to 69. I want this as secondary phone.

John Lewis say their stock comes from approved suppliers. Do you think that means direct from MS?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same company that Argos used, they are an approved supplier of Microsoft stuff.

I've always found Nokia's 'flow' typing to be one of the best but it seems pretty inconsistent across the apps, in Edge for instance it simply doesn't work - for me anyway.

So I finally cracked and bought the 950 XL from amazon

After more years than I can remember, Im finally off contract so looking for SIM only deals, are 3 still the best currently?
500 mins and 10Gb of data will do me just fine...

Vodafone are now saying they won't have XLs until Jan. Business account with multiple handsets so it's not as easy as just moving on. Also sim only was punitively expensive compared to the price for the same deal with a handset. Grrrr
