Having said that, if I was over someone's house and they whipped their socks off and a dog came and give them a good old bit of tongue action.. I'd probably feel awkward

I suppose it's only the destructive enzymes that could be remotely beneficial.
And the risks far out way the benefits.. When is pretty easy to get fucidin and caneston

I like dogs. But one of the reasons I chose to have a cat over a dog is the cleanliness aspect. I've met many lovely dogs, and taken them. on walks. But when your otherwise smart dog finds some sick, twisted delight in rolling in another dog's (or fox's) faeces, love really is over.

Some dog owners let their dogs do disgusting things. Knew someone once who let their dog lick their face. After the dog had eaten all the faeces out of the kitten's litter tray. Could smell it on their breath too. Apparently they thought this was perfectly acceptable. That and let their dog drag its arse over the carpet after it's had a crap.

Jesus Christ...that's a sign they have worms amongst other things.
