could have been then. They subbed on Neymar, Bale in the second half if you have them aswell?

Ive just bought IF Benzema to go with Suarez. If hes half as good as Suarez ill be happy.
 
From four regular premium gold packs.... (I opened 10) I managed to pull IF Lahm and IF Hummels.

Sold up and put this beauty together. Got to say, it's A LOT of fun to use. An absolute joy.

The central Robben card is superb. Had him at CAM, and often just stuck him as striker mid game and subbed on Muller. Worked a treat later in the game with tired defenders.

How much difference does it make playing players slightly out of position? Like having Vidal who is a CM playing at CDM... Are there any negative effects from it?

I had assumed that there would be due to the existence of the position modifier cards but lots of the teams I see on here have out of position players.

If his chemistry is 7 he is fine , you can get away with 6. I don't really like anything lower personally.
 
Go on Futhead, search comments on each player and look for a user called 'iamfrench', he gives you stats on every position for the player.

The work iamfrench puts in is awesome ! Some players will actually be better in a different position than the card. There is always the sub trick as well , i used to do it so i could play TOTY Silva and TOTY Luiz in midfield.

It's good also for subbing on a good player who doesn't link at all ( I often have Robben on the bench no matter what league i play )
 
I'm currently down in Div 3 after 2 straight relegations post-patch. Should stay up but scoring/winning is a bloody chore now. I can't even tell what has changed, I'm just ******* awful since the patch.

I am struggling to tackle and intercept since the patch , i keep running past the ball / man

It is very tricky just now with the market falling so much so i have been mostly trading IF cards as they are always limited supply. When these card rushes come there is several ways to do it with normal cards, you can buy cards and try for insta-profit by listing for 1 hr straight away at small profits and keep relisting until they sell.

The other thing is if good cards plummet during happy hours etc is i buy them and sit on them for a few days until it recovers , i find listing on a friday night / sunday the best. Be aware though as it's christmas time EA will be spamming us with pack offers.

There will be plenty better traders than me but i bought the superdeluxe edition and bought 12k fifa points at the very start of the game , the only "good" card i have had all year is Hazard who i sold for 160k approx

This is my current squad so it shows you trading can be done, im pretty busy in IRL so am by no means a "hardcore trader" who puts lots of hours in alll the time (i trade while watching a movie with family etc) and as i say there will be plenty people who make waaaaay more than i ever could:

Can you give me a tip on how I can get started to trade please? I'm only smalltime, so would see a benefit from buying / selling in the thousands and profit being 400-500 coins per trade. I have no idea where to start at looking what players are best to pick to trade.
 
5 straight relegations with every possible bit of luck for the opposition at crucial times :(

most of the times now im coming up against cheap 4 star teams low rated and cant figure out if everyone is selling up for toty as always at xmas or they just all now realise the lower rated teams always do better
 
If I've got two CDMs in Matic and Ramires who have M/H and H/H workrates could that be the reason I'm struggling so much, because they're never staying back properly?

Is the first letter their attacking workrate and the second their defensive, or the other way round?

I'm thinking of sticking Lucas Leiva and Lee Catermole in there as a test, they're both L/H. I'm fed up of being caught out at the back. I even tried 5 at the back but that didn't help, I drew 2-2 but he was all over me.

First is attacking and Second is defending. If they play as CDMs in your formation have you done squad instructions yeah ? I always tell my cdms in the instructions to do the most defensive things , cut passing lanes , stay back etc
 
I actually just got FIFA 15 ‘cos it was cheaper than 16 but I’m going to assume it’s similar to ‘16 – how on earth do you buy top players in Career mode?

I can sell players but every single player I have tried to sign refuses. It doesn’t matter how much money I offer or bonuses or telling them they’re a first team player, they always refuse and I am Barcelona. Seems to be impossible to sign anyone. What do you have to do? They just keep refusing, even if I’m offering them over €200k a week plus bonuses etc. every single player always refuses, even after the clubs agree a price. Feels like this game mechanic is completely broken.
