Anyone interested in making their own liquids check out Flavour Boss (Facebook group) or a portal on Cloudy-dreams. They have some great clones of recipes, I currently have rocket girl (Rocket man clone). It's awesome.

He sells the concentrates for 1 litre or two. 1 litre costs me £27 quid. I then bought nicotine and VG.

For £50 I have 1 litre of Juice (Rocket girl)
Enough VG left over for another litre of a juice.
Enough Nic for at least 8 litres.

Average costs of 10ml ~£3.
I just got a 1000ml for basically £30. 3p per 10ml.

I'm very interested in giving this a go.

So you buy the concentrates from this guy but you need to source your own VG and nic?

I only vape 6mg and tend to like 70/80% VG juice.

Where is best place to buy VG and Nic base and all the other mixing stuff/bottles etc?

The new toys will arrive tomorrow :)

One Wismec Dna200, Crius V3 plus some new batteries :)

Just need to get to grips with the escribe software, do you guys use the csv profiles from Steam Engine?

Cheers all

....
spent a couple of hours playing with different coils in the Squape Reloaded. My first build was the sweet spot for me, 0.9ohm 26gauge around 3mm at around 18w. I just love how I can rebuild and wick it in a couple of minutes and its spot on everytime.
.........

Told you.. lol..

------
Got my nextgen today... well it's a different vape, 1.2 on mesh and it gennie.. It's ok but I'm not blown away, saying the nextgen is the best gennie is like saying blu is the best cig a like.. lol I'm going to give it a few weeks try. :)

I'm been thinking I need a big battery mod as vaping at 30+ watts on single 18650 barely lasts a day. I was going to get the hexohm but with the advent of the dna 200 and serial sx j.. I don't see the point. I have a few mods that I'm looking at... the wismec dna200, the boxer sxj, the vapedroid sx or a custom sx j in serial in a hammond box. Anyway it wont be till after new year now. :)

It's been mentioned Efusion are doing a dual 18650 mod with a DNA200 chip, should be fairly compact based the size I managed to build mine at, and will see about 1-1.5 days on a pair of HG2 or 30Q

I use the steam engine wire wizard for Titanium Grade1, 317l and 304 SS wires on my DAN200.

If i had to choose a high power regulated mod, and had to pick between DNA200 or SX350J, i would go DNA every time, the vape and power delivery is smoother and you get the same vape until your batteries die, with the SX350J, once the batteries get down to around nominal voltage, your vape starts to suffer...
Plus with escribe you can fine tune your vape experience and it supports more wire types.
Add to the fact that there are very few Cheap SX350J mods that use dual 18650 and that most "Cheap" SX350J mods are limited to 75w... The DNA200 will do Temp control upto 200w, the SX350J wont even do 120W with dual 18650.
Im even going to sell my beautiful Hydrogen Mods SX350J 26650 as i just think the chip is inferior, the drop off as the battery drains is too noticeable if you vape at 40W as i have on mine.

Thanks for the info I have just been making up some custom logos for my various tanks & drippers in photoshop tonight so that I can have my 8 presets easy to identify with their respective logos.

Found some online but made up the ones I could not find :)

Cheers all

Got my 316L build working sweet in dual coil. Happened to stumble across a YT reviewer going by 'Vaping Moderation' and in one of his DNA 200 videos he has a link to some profiles he created. He explains that he added multiple check points in the 316 profiles as the temp curve is so low, I think the standard profiles have 4 or so points, this one has 8 or 10 or something.

Either way, it works flawlessly :)

Video I got his profile from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1LT_f2K-9E

Precisely. Nic I get from Darkstar Vapour I believe and VG from Lubrisolve on Ebay. His recipes have the VG content. The Rocket girl I mixed up was 75% VG.

Not to be a spoil sport or anything like that, (I'm always up for people making their own juice) but just to make you aware, a lot of the concentrates they use contain diketones.

I believe numerous studies recently relating to 'popcorn lung' rubbished the whole thing. For starters regular cigarettes contain more Diacetyl than any form of e-juice on the market.

Still, it's nice to be informed and aware in order for people to make their own informed decisions. So thank you, I wasn't aware :)

The whole Diacytil debarckle is a joke, studies have shown and proven the low amount in juices (the few that actually were found to contain any in the test studies), is so low that its near none existent and many Many times lower then you get for a fag... so we need to stop perpetuating the myth and feeding ammunition to the opposition.

As I mentioned I'm not trying to be a miserable sod over it, I'd just rather people know that certain juices out there, DO contain these so called 'custard note' ingredients (Diacetyl/AP/Acetoin).

I stick to FlavourArt concentrates for a reason due to the testing they've done over the past 4-5 years on this whole debate.

By all means vape those concentrates if you want! (hey, if it keeps you off the fags then be my guest!)

With regards to the 7.2% Nicotine base from Darkstar do I need to get the VG base as I like a higher VG base liquid or the PG version?

I basically want to end up with a similar 75-80% VG like you.

I've always been a bit 'yolo' towards this whole diacetyl thing anbd have vaped juices that I know contain it throughout, even before the debunking.

They taste so gooooood :)

Have just cracked open a month old apple pie & custard homebrew, and it's bloody fantastic.

- 10% Cap Apple Pie
- 5% Cap Custard v1
- 3% Cap French Vanilla
- 1% Cap Caramel

Omnomnom :) Will try slightly lowering the apple pie next time and allow the vanilla to come through a bit more, but this mix is amazing!

Yep get the VG one. Most of the flavour concentrates (if not all) will be PG based. So depending on how much total percentage the flavourings take up the rest will be VG.

E.g. the rocket girl clone has 25% flavourings. so 75% VG.

I vape 70VG/30PG and I always choose PG based Nic due to it being a hell of a lot easier to work with.

You wanna be storing your Nic base in the fridge (VG is a PITA to work with when it's chilled!)

Thinking of getting 1x litre. That should keep me going for a while right?

I only need my strength to be 6mg overall.
