What are you doing on Xmas eve?

not looking forward to christmas this year, not really in the spirit after loosing my father this year. First one without him and I'm not sure how I'm going to be, will try to be happy and think of the fond memories but I know it's going to be real tough. Will take it easy tomorrow night, spend some time with the wife, will see my mum during the day, wrap the remaining pressies in the evening watching National Lampoons Christmas Vacation with a few drinks.
 
Heading down to Devon tomorrow to spend a few days with my family. Got a nice place booked for 5 days just outside Brixham so will probably be getting to know that then having an early night cuz I have presents to open early Christmas morning.

Hoping for a Hornby train set, Scalextric and a Big Track.

I experienced that two Christmases ago and I did the exact same thing. Focused on the awesome memories when he was alive, and checked out old photos of him :) was a lovely reminiscence of his life, yes it was sad as he was my hero and forever will be, but we all pulled through it together as a family.

Be strong and remember the good times bud.
 
Work until 12, then to the pub for a quick celebratory pint, then home to probably play computer games for the rest of the day seeing at he mrs and the boy will be out by the time i get back.
