Which fluid ?

Getting ready to put together my own first WC build and was wondering which fluid to get ?

I don't want coloured as I like the look of clear and thought maybe this one would be ok from EK ?

Would have to add anything else into the loop like an anti growth, bacteria etc... ? Noob question I know but I'm very nooby when it comes to watercooling, They call me nooby mcnoobington of noobsworthington

I'd go Mayhems. I've always used their stuff and it contains all the stuff.

But that would work just as well, contains all the stuff needed too.

i've seen a lot of bad reviews of the EK fluid so I'd steer clear. Just get the mayhems stuff but not the aurora or pastel.

Well as long as it's crystal clear with no colour and all the additives etc... that's all I care about

I take my comment back then. Either way their non pastel range has a fair amount of negative rep around it and mayhems doesn't.

Use regular (cheap) distilled/deionized water and add a silver kill coil (a piece of silver somewhere in the loop will kill bacteria).

This is all you need. A silver plug, and distilled water.

distilled water with biocide or silver coil. I've read you shouldn't use deionised water.

Using distilled water with biocide and a kill coil currently in my rig, recently stripped it after running for around 6 months and water was still crystal clear, just had some slight tarnishing and corrosion of the copper blocks.
