** Star Wars Episode VII - SPOILERS WITHIN **

Looool!

You really can't see it can you!

That you're trolling? I can see that clear as day...

Anyway back on topic...

Why was the Tie fighter Tethered?

Also I'm anxious to know how Rey can speak wookie?

Rey, who has never left her home planet since she was a child, can speak Wookie. Nobody can speak Wookie... it's a running joke in the Star Wars universe. Doesn't Luke ask solo all the time what Chewie is saying?

But Rey being able to speak Wookie surprises neither her, Han Solo, nor Chewbacca himself.

Sigh. This thread was once about discussing the film. Now it appears to be about Easyrider in some way.

I know its a very odd response...

If people just kept to the film..But there is a witch hunt because I dare not to like it...:(

Guess they need to single one individual out.

They're not 'after you' because you said you don't like it, it's because every time someone says they enjoyed it despite it's flaws (as I did) you seem to take offence and have to try and correct them. Except you truly, deeply believe they're wrong for their opinion. That's how it feels anyway.

Normal folks:

"Hey I watched Sharks Invade Mars last night"

"What did you think of it?"

"Loved it, best movie I've seen this month"

"Me not so much but vive la difference"

Easyrider ( utter misnomer if ever there was one ) edition:

"Hey I watched Sharks Invade Mars last night"

"Really? What did you make of it?"

"Loved it, best movie I've seen this month"

"Ah but it's not Highlander is it.."

...78 page discussion on why it sucked massively

There are hundreds of times people have said they have liked it and I haven't questioned them...

Have I tried to correct you at all?

I don't recall ever doing so?

Put its ok for people to try and correct me if they like it?

It works both ways..No?

Getting back on track all the major cast have signed on for episode 8, including Mr Ford, so I guess we will get some back strory

That's odd. Some sort of extended retrospective story? Star Wars universe first?

I was absolutely sure that after killing off Han Solo they would heroically sacrifice Luke and Leia within the first 15 minutes of the Ep 8 because a) it's the only way to move on, Rey becomes the new Luke, Poe becomes the leader of Resistance facing the viewer b) Leia is useless at best and hard to look at, do we really need Disney to wreck our childhood memories and make fat Mark Hamil do Yoda style CGI fly-fu around the room before he's phased out.

I think Rey will be a Skywalker and Luke will have a major role in episode 8 similar to solo in episode 7

Yep, unfortunately he is (and always has has been) a sad little attention whore who has had far too much exposure from this threads and seems to have apparently become a minor anti-celeb for on week judging from the attention he has somewhat bewilderingly been given over this movie. Tens of pages and it is still going around in circles. Unbelievable how much you guys has indulged him by responding to his every post, even when they are simply repeating themselves. You guys have probably made his month.

I'm with Easyrider on this, the film was horribly flawed in so many way. Perhaps I will type out my full critique when I get round to it. Fair enough to those who enjoyed it, it was somewhat entertaining and in terms of going to the cinema and switching off to some sci-fantasy entertainment with 'cool' visuals this managed to tick a lot of the boxes. If I were to compare this film to anything it would be 'The Chronicles of Riddick' which I enjoyed for the spectacle and mindless sci-fi nature.

Only trouble is this is Star-Wars, if a Riddick film is poor people don't really care, this franchise means far more to people than that. Is this really the best Disney and JJ could come up with, I mean really? The most worrying thing to me is that there has been little to no backlash against the film. Episodes 8 & 9 have now been green-lighted to be equally poor films and will still make a fortune at the box office. That is a crying shame.
