This year I have a few :

1: To spend at least 2 hours a week learning polish ( I have polish Girlfriend )
2: Improve my photography skills & Spend more time learning PS special effects.
3: Lose a stone and build some muscle.

These our my main goals in 2016

1, Stop smoking the odd cig here and there (When drinking)

2, Run more than 3 times a week

3, Drink less Vino at the weekends

1: Lose 2 stone 3 pounds by May/June (on track to do this)
2: Sort of tied into 1 - Build muscle
3: Be consistent with my calories while incorporating more veg into my meals
4: Pay off both credit cards

All 4 are achievable :)

Not really a new years resolution, but I need to lose weight and eat more healthily than I have been. My diet is terrible are the moment.

I wish you all the best, I stopped in September. The nicotine may be gone after 3 days, but it wasn't until the third month that I stopped getting caught off guard by pangs. Now any pangs I get are genuine hunger feelings.

Edit: I wouldn't recommend doing both, especially if you don't want to be doing it. If there are no immediate health reasons, drop the fags first and work on booze later

as quoted below, for me it's probably the best way to go. if I'm having a pint I always 'need' a smoke, so if I'm going off the smokes I'll need to give up the booze too. though the booze may just be a short term quit, if I can stay off it long enough to properly kick the smokes I may go back to having a bevvie or 2 from time to time

Hitting both at the same time is probably the best way to do it, beer and fags go too well together, and when you get drunk you'll end up caving anyway.

For me, I plan on doing keto properly, hitting the gym, all for good reasons with an end game to it all of jumping out of a plane for charity.

Start a business.

Put on more muscle and lower my bodyfat percentage (already made some big improvements over the last 1.5 years).

Carry on the weight loss. Lost 1 stone from mid Nov to start of christmas, put 4lbs on since :S

Starting my own business, well, really pushing it properly and looking for a proper studio space.

Get all the house projects sorted.

And lots of other little things :)

Sell or get my G60 Corrado on the road :)

Don't die.

Not one for making resolutions, but I'm aiming to lose a few lbs in the new year.
I weighed myself last night for the first time in a few months & I've put on nearly a stone this year.
Tipped the scales at 13st 5lbs, heaviest I've been for 6 years.

I've decided to lose weight as a New Years resolution. Got a holiday booked for June, so want to lose as much as possible by then. Not gonna set a specific goal, will just be altering my eating habits. Cutting right down on takeaways and random needless snacking. Wont be getting any orders from American Soda either.

It be the same ones as I have every year that never happens....:(

Give up smoking
Join the Gym and also try to use my bicycle a lot more
Stop wasting so much money on junk that I don't need..
Buy a new car that does more mpg then my RX8 that normally gives me less then 15mpg

Let's all leave 1080p back in 2015

That's actually a good point

I believe that by the end of 2016 there won't be a single 1080p device in my house. My laptop is 4k, I have the dell u2515h on order which may come tomorrow. Just leaves the lounge and bedroom TVs to replace.

That said, I dabbled with x265 over the weekend by decided to stick with x264. Maybe in another year or two for that. I'm sure netflix and amazon will keep my happy for now.

My new years resolution will involve an x99 hex core i7

I'm trying extremely hard not to go 4k. I have convinced myself so far that it is pointless, but it feels like resistance is futile.:(
