***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Don't tell me that ! I want to finish it this weekend. Just finished Book 1.

And this is only 1800 pieces, I cannot even imagine 4600 pieces for the Firehouse.

Just to give you piece of mind. Just finished the Tumbler, and no parts missing :)

Now for Slave 1, or do I leave it for Friday (day off work for hospital visit) and go to the Lego store and get the new Tecnic Race Kart? Tough decision.

I am now 3 of 5 booklets done, all 4 wheels (or 6) on the car now, still loads of parts lego and the car looks like a Tumbler already, not really sure what the other 7 bags are for!?

I went to my local indy toy shop and check out the Lego section, has much bigger selection that i thought, but didn't have the Acros truck or any UCS stuff. :(

Would you guys consider the corner Deli a part of the buildings range like the Brick Bank? It seems like a cheap way to get into the "street".

Was hoping if they are all mini fig scale then that's a way to cheat getting a corner shop.

It seems to be a corner only when it's opened though via the hinge, and when it's opened it becomes half depth like a doll house. Although if you were committed you could get rid of the hinges, stick it on a bigger base plate and then build the rest of it out with the necessary connectors so that it'd connect to the other modular buildings.

It'd be a tad short compared to the others though, but could be a fun MOC project :)

I know, was just a thought, there are so many buildings, kinda wished I started sooner. could make faux Springfield with the Simpsons house, Kiwk e Mart now too.

Any progress pics on the Tumbler Ray?
Interested to see if its worth building or keeping it in it's box.

Not Mini Fig size ! :p

Afternoon watching the original trilogy and building this. Well spent! It came with two blasters for the minifig, not sure if that's standard.

Probably should've spent half an hour taking the tree down though!

Got a lead on a red five xwing being sold for cheap locally - fingers crossed

Built my Tumbler today because I was bored.

Almost finished now, 1 bag to go.

Not a thrilling build, was quite bored in places actually. I might switch things round and get a technics set instead.

p.s. I wish in the manual they would kinda put the existing built parts semi transparent and new adding pieces solid colour to make putting it on easier. Black on black with black everywhere is not easy to find where I am supposed to putting some pieces.

Did you find putting the front wings on a pain? They are in book 4, bag pack 7 and you put the second one on at Page 139. Just couldn't get it to fit!

Otherwise i've enjoyed the build so far. :)

The wings which cover the front wheels? I found them a bit of a potch tbh!

Yeah, a lot of the armour plates and stuff that finish off the build are quite flimsy, and sometimes awkward to fit on.

Overall it's a cool looking model but definitely not for play if you have kids.
