***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Just ordered the General Grievous figure. I think it It will sit nicely on my shelf!

Seeing how this will be the first time I've so much as touched Lego in years, I'll see how things go, then I may order the 75095 when available. :p

People have put the firehouse on eBay for upto £370, even though you can buy it from Lego for face value and will be able to for a long time, so how does that even work out for them??

For when it sells out I suppose and people cannot wait? Than again you see loads of stuff on ebay that's available and people still buy it from there for an increased cost.

I really like it, not into GB and think the film and franchise is hugely over rated but that's a damn nice kit. I will force that bat cave on my son whether he wants it or not! :D

after building the ecto-1 last night i've gone from being lukewarm on the firehouse to needing it

2 left in my local shop but the missus would kill me if I spent another 300quid on toys this month

Yeah the Bat cave is really looking nice.

And looking at the size of it all. It's going to be £200 or over I'd guess.

I take back what I said about them releasing Lego based on Star Trek. They're releasing so many nice sets already. It's hard to try and keep up with it all.

I'm about a third of the way through Slave I and loving it. I think it's going to be better than my Red 5 last year. Both cool models, interesting builds, and (important for my wallet) all I want!!

Except maybe the Sandcrawler.....

:)

Am I the only one who thinks the Slave looks one of the ugliest Star Wars sets currently available? It just looks like a giant sanding machine.

Not really a fault of Lego though is it? :p

It is an odd looking ship, especially when grounded. Upright in flight it's not as bad.

Never knew there was a lego thread @ Overclockers!

I'm fortunate to have an understanding GF who buys (and helps build) lego, though we only have star wars stuff for now. Death Star and Super Star Destroyer have pride of place but I have to say my favourite set to build was Jabba's Sail Barge. Just thought it was wonderfully engineered.

I've got my firehouse! :)
