Damn thats a shame.

Saw someone selling an S6 on gumtree the other day, £250 no box no charger LOL
Alarm bells were ringing
64GB too.

Out of my own curiousity decided to enquire why it came with no box or even charger no response, even added "sounds fishy" within 5 minutes of sending it listing dissapeared.

Then noticed it resurfaced a short while later LOL, clearly was spooked.
 
Yeah, the the odd thing, they found the box for mine and left it... Clearly they were just looking to fill their pockets with high value items (got 6 phones in all... but missed my Nexus 6P)

Hopefully contents insurance will cover it all.
 
Thanks guys. It only got taken today, so wouldn't be mine yesterday though.

Hopefully insurance is no problem and things can be replaced easy enough.

Sorry to hear that you were burgled. All I can say is don't let it get you down too much buddy. I was burgled twice in the space of two months around 10 years ago and they took EVERYTHING both times. They never did catch the person/persons responsible. :(

It's not nice knowing that people have been in your home and taken your things but don't let it play on your mind too much, they're only inanimate objects that can be replaced. Hopefully you can claim on the insurance.

I'm a long time subscriber to your youtube channel. You make good content so keep up the good work. I hope this doesn't affect your ability to make videos too much and I'm sure you will have all of your gadgets back soon enough :)

My only advice would be to add more security to your home. If somebody wants to break in, then they will do regardless. But the more security you have, the more you will deter them. Maybe think of getting some sort of CCTV if you haven't already. Install an alarm if you don't have one and some extra locks. Put a sign in your window stating that you have a big nasty rottweiler dog guarding the premises. Little things like that will make the scumbags think twice and move on to the next unfortunate victim.

Sorry mods for going slightly off topic as well, I just feel sorry for the guy being burgled. If this post needs to be deleted, then go for it. :)
 
Thanks for the comments. I wont deny, it's been a tough day off. Yes, looking to increase security and you're right, they're only objects. Annoying though, having to get another Note 5 imported. Mygsm don't have the silver one at the moment either :(

Are there other options beyond mygsm? Was there a preferred eBay seller for a N920C (Silver)?

Ideally I did want the silver, but both places were out of stock and I want to play with my Gear VR some more, so in a hurry. Never had a Gold phone before, thought it worth a look. I also have a Captain America Slikwrap to put on it anyway, so colour doesn't perhaps matter too much.
