I think it would be fair to say that not going in the DZ would be similar to only doing matchmade content in Destiny. Sure you've still got a whole game to play, but you're missing out on the best bits. DZ extractions are just an awesome little piece of gaming.

Ah okay, might be worth exploring later on then, but to get used to the game, just stay in the none DZ area.

Definitely check it out. It's not like the DZ pitches you straight into a kill on sight PvP deathmatch...there are quite severe incentives to *not* go rogue. It's going to be interesting to see how the DZ mechanics play out with a bigger bunch of players. Things varied a lot from most people KoS on Friday to most people being co-operative or hunting rogues later on.

Will definitely be interesting to see how many people go rogue in the DZ, part of me thinks because there are so many beta keys about, that it may just turn into something like TDM, but I'm hoping it's more not friendlier, but less of a wherever you turn, there's people trying to kill you, which is what I think is putting a couple of people off.
