Question has probably been asked an answered before but I haven't followed much of this thread recently.

If I am solo'ing and walk into the 'dark area' - what happens?

Same as if you strolled in there with some friends, just all on your own :)

Very easy to meet players and group up though, not like Destiny where you have to tit about with LFG websites. Just ask someone on prox comms if they want to group up, press 'form group', and off you go.
 
Ahh ok wasn't sure if you had to be squaded up or if you got paired with randoms. I like the idea of going in solo and being all stealth.

I'm sure my lot will have some groups going so shouldn't be hard to find a group.

Does anyone have any idea as to how big of a download the betas going to be? Considering splashing out on a key but been on the wonderfully slow talk talk I'm not too sure I'll be able to download it in time...taken 33 hours and counting to download BF4
 
Not 100% sure of the pc size but found this.

The beta for the Xbox One weighs in at 25.82GB – a little bit smaller than its PC counterpart.
 
I have a beta code free from that Nvidia Experience thingy, I'll play the beta.

I'm not pre-ordering it, or buying it on release. Might pick it up in a sale unless everyone jumps on it.
 
Might have missed it already, but does anyone fancy grouping over the beta weekend?

Perhaps we could add each other to friends list in uPlay and team up when people are online.
 
Well at least the lighting and shadows looks pretty good! Rest is just "ok", not amazing but not awful.

I am not that interested in the MP side of things tbh, I don't think it is going to be that good or our type of "MP" game in all honesty.... and my main concern is that it will end up like war thunder i.e. getting trashed by higher level players with all the good weapons and gadgets :p

Not that I speak, but if this game turns out good then I might be forced to wear a Darth Vader mask and get on comms.

I thought it was tiered? So unless 1 or 2 are ridiculously higher than you, it should still be alright. Plus decent teamwork is half the battle won.

Aye, I'm more interested in the SP side. But 1v4 in the dark area doesn't sound that good.

Plus my monitor doesn't have deep blacks so...

It's not actually physically dark in the dark zones, same day night cycle ;) The lore is that there's a comms blackout inside the zone which is why agents can go rogue.
