Call of Duty 2015/Black Ops 3?

Ugh. I'm sure they've reimpemented skill based matchmaking. Taking forever to find games and when it finally does the entire lobby is full of people with retardedly high k/d ratios. No more having fun/messing about/trying out new loadouts. Got to play super serious, camp and generally tryhard to the max unless I want to die 2000 times and lose every game.

I think they did that pre patch, since more often I got bad connections and sweaty games.

Lmao, just tried playing some games with biron, can hardly get into games and its super insta death

That was really was bad last night. Couldn't even find a game when I tried searching. And when we did find a game it was pretty bad. I also remembered why I hate Core: Put tons of bullets into players and then get insta-killed by the VMP

Is anyone else getting no menu in between games? Happened a couple of times last night and, annoyingly, it was just as I'd completed challenges and needed to amend my loadout.
I totally disagree. The campaign is utterly dreadful. By far the worst campaign I've played in any COD.

Yes, but you actually like Advanced Warfare, so your opinion is irrelevant ;) :D :p

I haven't played since the patch dropped but if there is SBMM then it doesn't work that well which leads me to think it is just another incosistency of blops3. Playing TDM alone I can go from one lobby full of try hards to a lobby full of noobs. I do think this game treats groups differently though and does try to find another team or reasonably skilled players in an attempt to stop pub-stompings.

My first impressions of the maps: I like Gauntlet and Skyjacked. They're ok.

Rise and Splash however are terrible. They seem to have gone for the Ghosts style map design of having huge maps with 10,000 rooms and 50,000 windows and doors so you can be shot at from 2,000,000 places at any point on the map. Awful.

Watching Thunder's video at lunch time he suggests and refers to a lot of people moaning that this patch has introduced SBMM again :( I really hope it hasn't. I don't mind the lobby being divided on skill but lobbies should only be put together based on connection.

I didn't get the legendary edition or pre-order as CoD map packs can be so hit and miss so was waiting for you guys to let me know how they are. Not off to a good start though if 2 maps are rubbish :(

I still think AW is excellent. The campaign is the best campaign since MW2. But, you know, that's just my opinion :p

Just in this case your opinion is wrong :p :D I just, I actually played more of AW campaign than I did of any other campaign since MW2. Thinking back, I really enjoyed the spec op missions that MW2 had too.

I watched a stream at lunch and the guy on there said Splash & Rise were good and Gauntlet and Skyjacked were rubbish.....:D

O ffs. It seems you can't disable or remove the map packs either. What a load of BS. Looks like i won't be playing this game for much longer then!

EDIT: And SBMM is back with a vengeance. I'm done with this game until they allow you to disable the map packs and remove SBMM.

I'm not so sure about the SBMM now having played a little today. Feels more like it was pre-patch.

Maybe there was a higher percentage of high level/hardcore players on yesterday because they are more likely to have waited for PSN to come back up, downloaded the patch then started playing straight away? I don't know.

Having played more of the maps I think Splash is starting to grow on me. Not as bad as I first thought once you start to learn the layout. It's also the best looking map in the game IMO. I still don't like Rise though. So I would say 3/4 of the new maps are decent. This is all based on FFA play though so they might well play/feel a lot different in other modes.

I don't always want to play the new maps, plus it's normally the sweats that buy the map packs(not including me!)

The first lobby I got into today was full of people with a high SPM. The lowest was about 360.
