Larger SSD or RAID 0

Been running my 256GB Samsung 840 Pro for over 2 years now. Need at least 512GB.

Would it be wise to get another 256GB and RAID it or should I just get a single 512GB?

i would just get another 512gb SSD rather then raiding them as you cant do any firmware updates to any of the drives when setup like this so would make it hassle if you needed to do this at any point.

keep the 256GB as the OS drive\apps drive and then the new drive for games only.

Yep, get a 512GB and sell the 840 Pro.

I went from 120gb to 250gb to 500gb and now to 1TB..

Yeah will probably sell the 840 and add some cash and get a 1TB.

I started at 60gb, then 120gb and now 250gb. Crazy to see how much I paid for that 60gb!
