Did a quick search but couldn't find anything about this phone.

Shatter-proof display
5.4" AMOLED screen with 540ppi
3760mah battery with quick charge and wireless charging
32/64 storage options with micro sd slot
Motorola so virtually vanilla android and apparently marshmallow already avaliable.

Shame it doesn't have USB-C but can't see any other downsides apart from maybe a bit bulky due to shatter-proof display.

Display is a dim in bright light I'm led to believe. Certainly didn't go as bright as the moto X style when I compared them in carphone warehouse. Plastic screen scratches easily though is replaceable. I was interested in one but after the moto x 2014 didn't want another dim display for outdoor use in summer. Also I thought it too expensive.

I fancy one of these as an upgrade to my Moto X 2014, as it's the only Moto that I can still wave my hand over to get notifications and I'd miss that.

Edit: Couldn't pass up that CPW deal, this forum costs me too much money :o

Got mine. I'm happy with the screen although the size is gonna take some getting used to! It's a similar size to a note 3 and I'm coming from a 1st gen moto g.

It updated to android 6 straight away. The turbo charge seems pretty fast considering the size of the battery - 37 mins from 50% to fully charged.

I think I'm going to get a tempered glass screen protector as apparently the screen scratches easily and a qi wireless charger so I don't wear out the micro USB port as that's the only thing that has broken on my 2 year old moto g. Any recommendations for either?

Exact same position.

Put off by the potential for the screen scratches and price. But at that price at CPW...

I've just ordered a cheap £8 job off Amazon for the QI charger, used a similar one with my N5 and it was absolutely fine.

I've never bothered with screen protectors before because I hate the feeling of the plastic ones but I may splash out on a glass one for this, if it means I can kick it around and not worry about the screen at all :D

The problem I've found with screen protectors on Motorola's Moto X-type devices is that the screen tapers down towards the edges where it meets the frame, and as such screen protectors just stand out horribly.

I am also concerned about how easily the screen scratches and dents, so if you do find a good solution, please do share!

I've ordered a Tempered Glass SP as I don't tend to go without one on any device and need protection even though it's billed as a shatterproof screen.

Just got confirmation that my order has shipped.

I'm really looking forward to getting the Moto X Force as I've had my eye on it for some considerable time and wasn't prepared to pay £500 for it.

Billed as such, and covered by warranty. But who knows just how good they are at honouring such things.

£20 that's not really much more than a decent tempered glass protector, I'll probably just leave it naked then.

I'm quite looking forward to having wireless charging again, it's by no means a dealbreaker but it's nice to have when it's charging at night.

You can wave your hand over the Moto X Style as it has the sensors.

I actually bought an X Play but the hand waving thing I really missed after the Moto X 2014. Selling the Play now as I wasn't liking it so much. Did have a look at the Force in Carphone Warehouse but apart from what I've already said I didn't like the price. If I had bought one at £500 I imagine I'd be very miffed now

I've bought the Style. Really like it. I know it's been criticized regards it's battery life but on Marshmallow I'm finding it very good. Lasts me a day with 2 or 3 hours SOT no problem. Had over 4 with plenty to spare. It's a lot better than I expected from reviews. I'm really liking it. Speakers are great, display is sharp and is bright in sunlight. 32GB and an sd card slot - what more could you want.

I had no idea the Play didn't have that ambient display sensors...that was a close call as it was in contention. Until the Force sale today.

I thought neither did, but then again I don't think I could handle a 5.7 inch screen to be honest the biggest I've used was 5.4 like the force and that is pushing it one handed.

The X Play has apparently had improved performance with Marshmallow but the SD 615 chip put me off plus the lack of sensors.

The X Style IMO is too big and has poor battery for heavy users which is a big no no for me. The X Force is a great balance between the two and the recent price drop at CPW made it a No Brainer purchase.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm so tempted by that price. My Nexus 6 is going back for repair again & I am using my Nexus 4 in the mean time, Are the speakers proper stereo front facing like the Nexus 6?

How would people compare this to the Nexus 6 apart from it being smaller?
