What if the afterlife exists but it is like an open loop in a broken program. You would be alone in the dark on your own with just your thoughts for eternity.

This has chilled me since I was about 12 or 13.

I could live with that. You'd either learn everything there is or go insane, but you'd never know which.

That was what a journalist mate of mine used to say. Most of the time people are impressed. Rarely you end up looking a bell end. I guess it's another version of everyone is winging it. Some just show it worse than others. Aragant and confident BS ftw.
