**** The Official Google Nexus 6P Thread ****

That charger's caused problems with the Nexus 6P, it's also not USB-C compliant.

What problems? Seems more compliant than ankers offering which doesn't QC.

Benson Leung also states the charger is fine for 6P. It was the pixel C that had problems, or if you buy the version without the presupplied cable you are fine.

Just a note, on Type C compliance... Apple type C uses 2.4a like this charger. Pixel C uses 3.0a. Both are compliant. They have just made a complete **** up of the release.

Hoping some one can help me. I'm using a Nexus 6P and have lightflow installed to control the LED but I can't find a setting anywhere in lightflow to control the rate the LED flashes...

At the moment it's on stock which is flashing once every 4/5sec...

Where in lightflow can I change this rate?

And being stuck on the same outdated version of Android in 12 months time!

And don't forget having to confirm every setting change you want to make (which is one thing I really really do not miss about TW!)

oh god yeah. do the current samsung phones have lollipop on them yet? i don't think my friends does but maybe he hasn't clicked for it to happen yet.

i think the number one selling point is having the latest version of android for me over anything else now.

My Note4, which I my parents now use is still sitting on 5.11. It's still rather nippy despite the fact that I will root the thing at some point this year since I can't see 6.0 coming for it anytime soon - if it does, it'll probably be buggy anyway.

TouchWiz wasn't too bad on the Note4...it's just that the update schedule and Samsung's ignorance let it down.

My Note 5 is on MM now and Touchwiz these days is really dialed down. Use their theme store to put a Material theme on it and you don't really notice Touchwiz.

I'm having naughty thoughts about that S7 for some reason :o

Me too... bought an S6 last year but the camera broke. Didn't like the software anyway, but this year the S7 looks overall a much better package.......and look at the shiny shiny...

Still overall very happy with my 6P though.

Agreed, for many an MD theme and nova launcher will suffice. But for us that really like stock Android, it just not enough. TW oddities still lurk in too many places.

Everytime I get lured away by better hardware, I end up coming back to a nexus. Stock is so much nicer (for me). At the moment the S7 and G5 haven't appealed to me at all, I'm sure something will at some point and the cycle will continue :p
