I have both the digital GFW marketplace with securom & the retail DVD both work just fine GFWL is still running but you cannot download the digital version right now as the GFW marketplace store is broken & has been for over 6 months :(
 
I have the original on disc up in the loft with many other games also. I will grab this at the weekend and see what is what.

I would say MS is hard at work to fail PC gaming as it is with such release. I would look towards exclusivity differently if MS actually managed to release this game without v-sync issues, supporting multiGPU and the rest of the DX12 features and actually working. As it is right now they have exclusively sold it only on Windows Store, which in itself is absolute crap and forces people to keep their windows 10 OS syncing with MS, which at this point in time is a no no. To add to that game is not working. How can they possibly expect to impress people and persuade them to switch to win 10 and start using MS Store with such poor release?
It is clear right now that they trying to fail PC gaming on purpose.
 
Well I caved and bought it. I just have no idea where it is going to install it :( And I won't get to have a proper play till Sunday :(

Don't be fooled when you download it, the downloaded amount doesn't update in real time, mine stayed at 0.1gb until it had downloaded 8gb. I see most of the 'reviews' for it on the windows store are those saying the download is stuck at 0.1gb, it isn't, check resource monitor while downloading.

You need to go to PC settings>system>storage to set where windows apps are saved before you download it.

Brilliant way of doing things, right?

True that! i'm a massive Halo fan. If that did happen and they put all the halo games on the store i would buy in a heartbeat. At the moment nothing is tickling my fancy. Maybe Forza Motorsport.

I'd say it's only a matter of time before we see the halo catalogue on the store, nothing will entice the masses like a popular online shooter...
 
Halo: Master chief collection would be harder to port, but not impossible.

It runs two game engines simultaneously when you play Halo: CE or Halo 2 anniversary edition.

Is this why it's telling me it's not compatible with my system?

Also what do I do when I get to that page (storage)?. All it shows is a list of drives followed by a series of options you need to choose a drive for. The options are: apps (which is greyed out so it can't be changed), documents, music, pictures and video's.

I've tried downloading one of the free games a few times and it takes my password and then say's oop's something went wrong.

I get that, I am staying well away from MStore, unless they release a full fat Forza, then I might just have to forsake my lovely gsync and try it.

all of them. :D

Division will give me much more playtime than Gears. Don't get me wrong it has the best campaign I ever played. I even have signed bookmarks from karen traviss but I never had interest in the multiplayer side of things except for Horde and Co-op campaign.
