How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

About 20 minutes. Get up, get dressed (cycling clothes), brush teeth and head out the door.

Then another 20 minutes showering and changing at work :)

About 35 mins and that includes getting my daughter up, getting her breakfast and nagging her to get ready. Getting myself ready takes about 5 to 10 mins.

Up at 0630 and out of the door at 0745. I do have a four year old and two year old to get ready for nursery though.

About an hour to get me and my 6 and 2 year olds fed, washed, dressed and then out the door to take the eldest to school.

I could be up and out in 30 minutes if all I did was get up, shower, get bike out, get kitted up and go but I prefer to have time to sit and wake up so at the minute I get up around 6.20 and leave around 7.20

No shower?
I was going to say the same to Hades. No shower in the morning? Ugh.. :(

make breakfast the night before.
do washing up the night before.

saved you half an hour.
Porridge is pretty much the only breakfast that keeps me going until lunchtime, can't really make that the night before (we do soak it though which speeds it up). We do washing up in the evening after dinner, so morning washing up is only breakfast stuff. Could leave that but the girlfriend gets into a tizz about the kitchen looking untidy and would insist on washing up, then making dinner, then washing up :o

Let's ignore the fact we have a perfectly good dishwasher but that's a rant for another thread :p

In 20 minutes, starting from 08:40 each week morning, I;

- Poo (not every day, this is dependent on the current state of my innards)
- Shower
- Dress
- Drive to work

I'm terrible, I honestly don't know where the times goes in the mornings. My alarm goes off at 7am but I'm struggling to get out of the house before 9am recently!

Maybe I should break it down for my benefit..

7.00-7.15 doze/snooze alarm
7.15-7.30 make porridge/tea
7.30-7.45/8ish eat breakfast/drink tea
8ish shower
8.15-8.20 get dressed
8.20-8.40 washing up (stops the girlfriend complaining as much that I never do chores) and get bag ready
8.40-8.50 brush teeth, bathroom etc.
8.55 leave, end up late for work :p

I'm such a faff :( That said I'm sure if my life depended on it I could roll out of bed into the shower, get dressed and be out of the door in 25mins but I would not want to start my day like that.. I hate leaving the house without food/caffeine. Makes me feel fairly awful running around the tube etc with no food/energy inside me.

Yeah everyone is different, and unfortunately work doesn't really tend to account for this. I'm still of the belief that even 8AM starts are too early, but at the same time, I do enjoy being out at 4 and missing much of the traffic.

Getting up at 7 is still a challenge for me. I've had to force myself to be up at 7 at the latest, ideally 6:50. I like to then be in the car by 7:20 to get across to work to start at 8. I'm usually there at 7:50 ish. 1s after 8 and it's a fiver into the curry kitty, so it's a fair incentive to not be late.

I'm diabetic and so I'm almost always tired - it doesn't matter if I've had 4, 8, or 12 hours sleep.

I get up at 8:10, Brush my teeth and have a quick wash, then take the wife to work. Go back home! Go to work (my conservatory) around 8:30am.

I generally make some brekkie about 9:30 and go for a shower after that.

Mondays I get up at 6:30am, download walking dead and watch that before talking wife to work.

About 25 minutes. This is getting up, getting dressed, having breakfast, brushing my teeth and grabbing my lunch out the fridge. I tend to have a shower the night before and get my clothes ready for the morning.

When I get to work I'll splash my face and sort my hair out.

Wake at 6:20, get the Mrs a cuppa / feed the cat, out the door for a morning run, back by 7:30, quick bath, clean teeth and off to work about 7:50. Have coffee and breakfast biscuits on arrival.
