My God! - Its like the whole of my Destiny friends list is here! This is gunna be good!

So we can create the character and stuff 2nite at 12? - thought the servers wern't going to be available till 8AM.....

according to https://poed.net.au/Division/Launch/ (taken from reddit), digital copies unlocks at midnight, while physical copies should be able to play from 1.00pm today

I've gone Xbox One for this one.

Not waiting a month for the DLC and PSN servers have been dire for awhile now.

Played both betas and visually there's nothing in it. Can't say the same for other multi-plats i've played lately.

Watching Twitch I see the graphics are still as underwhelming as the beta, it makes me want to get it on the PC instead.

Servers aren't online yet They go online at 1pm so still another hour away.

Really? I thought they are online now? I'm watching a stream called Devs play the division so thought it was the full game.....

Edit: Yep, servers are now online. Digital versions unlock later but for people with retail copies you can play.

Cant speak for newer models, but the 2 i had launch and the white one, were awful
Also didnt like the controller...
I may of been unlucky on the ps4 front, but lucky on xbox one because it is completely silent.
If i turn off TV, only thing i hear is my xbox one power brick, but got that swapped and well happy with it

But hey ho!
Its good to see some genuine hype for a game and it looks like it may deliver on it

Can someone explain the DPS thing to me? What does it stand for?

Damage per second.

as already posted its Damage Per Second, and its a way of calucating how good your gun is once you've applied all your gear to it.

Each gun will have a base damage, like 650. This then gets put into an equation along with a whole load of other stuff to work out how much damage your loadout does, then divides it by time to get the damage done per second

This game is going to be very much like destiny in that the best players will know how to use the loadouts to get the upper hand. You aren't going to fare well in PVP if you don't know how to get the best setup and understand the difference between Firearms, Stamina and Technology and just equip any random armor or guns you find off the floor

Has anyone been able too preload the game from PSN, I hit add too download queue but nothing happens.

Mine had already installed yesterday when I turned my PS4 on. I do leave it in rest mode though.

Weird I was expecting a lot more people considering how the hype felt on here, whats really surprising is how much of that are long serving Destiny players - it really does seem these 2 games will borrow each others player base when one isnt as popular as the other due to a lull in new content.

Be interesting to see what happens in September...
