It's always been my understanding that grey goose isn't actually better vodka than say Smirnoff?
I thought it was just some genius who saw a gap for "premium vodka" smacked a fancy label that made it premium and bottled up normal vodka and sold it for £xx more than others?

Smirnoff is my go to. Absolute I find is like water. It's not as intoxicating as the other two. In fact the last time I drunk it, I wouldn't even say I was drunk. I felt more dulled, like I was stoned. Wasn't good.
Vodka is the alcohol you put in soft drinks to get drunk quickly
You get a much more tasty drinking experience with other alcohols at the cheaper / supermarket end of the spectrum. But for getting drunk quickly - vodka is pretty much the King.
I only get Grey Goose, as it's in my local shop for 20Euros![]()
