Would the term work lifestyle academies sound better?
Basically a live in area, providing basic accomodation and cooked provided meals twice a day. Providing an in effect live in apprenticeship scheme.

I don't believe bar a few very seriously damaged people that anyone in the UK doesn't understand the implications of having unprotected sex. You can't sit on both sides of the fence. Its either spontaneity or not, not selective spontaneity as that requires some thought process.
I don't believe education would make any difference, as from what I can tell people like this see it as a right, they know full well what they are doing. Your can't educate out of stupid and devious.

We have no idea of the girl's circumstances in this story. Have you considered that all she wanted is to be in a loving relationship and took the fella's word for it he loves her and will stick around and it turns out the bloke got what he wanted and ran off ?
Men do take advantage of girls and this poor woman has fell for her suitors stories and guess what she ended up being a single mum of 8.

That is possible, or have you thought for one minute that she has never taken anything seriously enough and has always relied on someone to come along and bail her out of her mistakes. Be that ex partners or the state?
She never considered that being a lap dancer could have a relatively short career and before she started popping sprogs with 4 different partner that she may want to have something else to fall back on so she didn't get to the point where she was too busy to work.
It flips both ways.

Of course it can flip both ways, like I said in my previous post we have no idea what her background is and she may have had no choice to work in a 'club' given she maybe a product of a broken home herself and then suffered at school which in turn leaves her at the bottom of the ladder.
People at the bottom of the ladder tend to live for today as they can not afford to think about tomorrow, pay the bills and find some money for the food.
No easy solution for this
Obviously you don't want to penalise the kids
But you also don't want to give the woman a free ride.
I don't envy her.. Even if she gets more money.
I think best we can do is discorouge this, make life not easy but not detrimental.
Oh, and yeah doesn't look quite as trashy as I thought. But wonder if there's an echo :O

The bad thing about the CSA is they screw the good dad's willing to support but pick bad women to be a mother.
The good thing about the CSA is they do nothing about the bad dad's because they are all on benefits..... From knowledge and experience of people I know!

).See, I think this is actually a great idea (or would be if implemented correctly).
It seems that in a lot of cases like this, the parent didn't have a great upbringing themselves; lack of decent role-models etc. this then continues as they don't have the experience to be decent role-models to their own children, repeat ad-infinitum.
Put them into a stable environment where they have those role-models and are a) given the opportunity to educate and improve themselves, and b) made to "pay their way" by working and I think it would help towards breaking that cycle.
I said sensible, and by that extension, practical and enforceable
We can all come up with any old crap, but there's no point if it's just nonsensical
