Literally every rpg in history uses the same mechanic - I'm not sure why people have a problem with it in this game. Bosses are knife/sword/axe/magic sponges - why are bullets somehow different? O.o

People might prefer something that requires a more tactical objective based team work approach than just shoot the thing a lot until HP is 0.
 
Any kind trustworthy guy willing to help me out please ? My stash is full but I've got a yellow that I need to decontaminate.

I believe my only option is to get flagged as rogue, you kill me, take the item, you go in to safe zone, I come back after clearing stash, you shoot me to go rogue then I kill you to reclaim item.

Help :(
 
That'may' not work, but you could avoid the rogue status for you both by just throwing a grenade of 2 at your feet.
 
So just got to level 30 DZ, ran round the venders all excited to buy better gear, and everything was a lot worse than I already had, so do I need to carry on to 50 and still hope I get lucky with drops or am I missing something?

I'm lvl 8 and only played solo so far and loving it. Never liked co-op play as I always get called a noob! I like to take my time and look around etc whereas most people you end up with just wanna blast through content.

There's a fair few people that like exploring. I find myself exploring much more now I'm levelcapped.

I've played 30 hrs solo and had a great time. I only get 1-3 hours a day to game and have played every day since launch day, still only at level 11. Looking at my friends on Uplay, I am well behind the curve!

I do intend on joining with others when my circumstances allow.

I've been into the DZ solo (first time at level 8) and it was fun...you will most likely be targeted at some point but the amount of times I was helped (revived or protected at an extraction) outweighed the amount of times I was targeted (and even when I was targeted, I got my revenge by killing the rogue).

Two skills really help solo play - the Tech skill of the Turret should be self explanatory - it's an extra weapon that you can place to protect a vulnerable flank or against chargers, and it has saved me a number of times. The Medical skill First Aid is great to bring you back to full health without using a medkit, so when you have a breather from "hostiles incoming" switch skills from Turret to First Aid, get yourself back to full health and then go back to the Turret. That way, your med kits should be kept for emergencies only. One of the first parts of the Medical Wing I unlocked gave me the extra med kit slot - also valuable if you can't rely on a team mate to revive you.

There may be other solo strategies, but this has worked for me. I cleared the Broadway Emporium last night without dying!

copy all 3 into your the division folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's The Division)

and good 2 go.
 
I re rolled some of my equipment tonight and got an extra 3k DPS, 6k stamina, and 3k skill. :)

Quite fun doing all that.

Also went into the DZ and went up one more rank, doing well solo but staying away from the harder areas for the time being

Diablo 3 re-rolling is like crack - this has potential :D
 
Goodnight BK. It was nice knowing you even though you never gave me the weapon + talent I wanted to were a useful resource. You shall not be missed though as the numer of people wanting to do CM tanked as soon as your exploit appeared. Farewell friend. wub
