It's not racism, there is a distinct threat from that part of the world on our doorstep. How can you brandish people as racist for self preservation.

I didn't say they didn't matter. The innocent loss of life is awful and I am sure British people would share that sentiment. But in Belgium, France, the USA and so forth we see a mirror of ourselves and our way of life, so the feelings are more visceral. Less so with Turkey.
