The Islamic Satanists make official claim of responsibility (BBC live reporting):

Islamic State (IS) militants have issued an official statement claiming the Brussels attacks, following up on an earlier report from the IS-affiliated A'maq news agency claiming responsibility on behalf of the group.

The branded statement, issued via IS's official social media accounts, warned of worse to come for "Crusader states allied against the Islamic State".

The statement said targets in the Belgian capital had been "carefully selected", suggesting the attacks might have been centrally directed. The statement did not indicate how many IS operatives were involved. It claimed more than 40 people had been killed and over 210 injured.

All hyperbole anyway, I have no solution to it tbh. I think mistakes have been made and our governments have fanned the flames (providing weapons to pre-ISIS groups). We unfortunately are the ones who will likely pay for our governments poor foreign policy through a continued culture of fear and xenophobia.

Horrible to say but this is a totally valid point. An explosive without projectiles will cause far less damage if you are outside the blast zone, with nails you ensure worse injuries.

Blast radius alone might be 20-30 feet, with projectiles it could be several thousand feet.

I notice you're in California. Maybe it's a USA/UK thing. Yes, we say "counting down the days" to positive things, but I've also heard it for negative things. And honestly, on a subject like this, I think it's reasonable to assume the poster wasn't looking forward to such an attack.

Can't say I have ever heard 'counting down the days' used in relation to something bad.
More counting down to doom, or some similar line.

It appears they are still looking for one chap, who was in a hat, not the other two in the cctv footage, wonder if they think one blew himself up in the airport, and one in the metro. One still about.
Speculation on my part, but would be awful if the airport guys, two of them left on a metro and blew up on arrival near 'home'.
