I'm guessing because you could be gender-assigned as male, but identify as female and prefer men as your sexual partner. I'm guessing that makes you non-cis female heterosexual?

It's all very confusing.

Yeah, I'd just go for gay. Born as a male, have sex with male. Gay. :p

I worry about these special ********* kids going out into the real world when they are finished in the education system.

It reminds me a (very) little when I first came to the UK as a 7 year old. I was naughty in school and expected a caning (with signatory flinch as we were in Nigeria - nothing that physically or emotionally scared me for life) but instead I was sent to the naughty table to reflect on what I had done. I was very confused at the time :p. Or even the trial system in schools, where (in a bullying incident) there was no victim or bully.

I feel under-presented.

I am one of those sickos that erotically dip maccy Ds fries into my milkshake. I get stares of disbelief and harsh scrutiny when i do it too.

Start your Facebook group movement with a few prolific SJWs and you will probably be a major movement in a few years.

This whole cis thing has reminded me of this thoroughly enjoyable gender-identities-gone-too-far post I saw a while back

On the contrary, most of the "different" people I met during my undergrad were much more well-adjusted than the vast majority of molly-coddled straight arrows I knew. Possibly because a lot of them had been through some form of hardship, whether it was related to their identity or orientation or not.

Of course then you get the entitled loudmouths who just want to be edgy and make sure everyone knows about it by preaching from their soapbox. They are the ones that ruin it for the rest, the "I'm oppressed so you should treat me better than everyone else" type.

Cis?? Nus??
Eh?!? Am I not being modern enough?
No, you're just not being sufficiently politically sensitive to the attetion needs of those who are different, but don't want to be treated differently, but still want their differences known and celebrated anyway, but don't want to be identified as different... or some ******** like that...

Basically, if whatever it is doesn't run Crysis, you probably don't need to care!! :p

I think that's the type that gets us "over-privileged" people rather annoyed and unfortunately there are going to be people who cant distinguish between the two(back to binary bitches :D).

I wouldn't treat anyone any different for being gay/bi/lesbian/trans/disabled/attack heli but I don't see why I should feel guilty for not being any of the above.

I must admit I thought gay men were still rather at risk of violence. I have yet to meet a male who has an issue with lesbians but a fair few seem to have issues with gay men(why I don't know).

Anyone know if straight females act aggressively towards lesbians?

Those were the types of people I was talking about.

I believe less so compared to straight men being aggressive towards blokes but I believe you are on the right lines when it comes to homophobic prejudice that we probably see less prejudice towards lesbians because we are men. I have a few lesbian mates and they seem to get a lot of stick from a handful of women but only from men if the men just failed to hit on them.

I think also that gay men have probably faced more stereotyping and misconceptions associated with them over the last few decades. The association with things like AIDs and such were limited to gay men, rather than women but society have moved on a lot from then.

with the way it is used these days 'cis' needs to be classfied as a derogatory term

after all it isn't a term generally used by so called 'cis' people themselves but more frequently is used when people choose to attack/criticise cis people
