Also seems a little under-dressed given her support of the Islamic State.

This whole cis thing has reminded me of this thoroughly enjoyable gender-identities-gone-too-far post I saw a while back

Edit: cleaned up version:

I made it to 'attack helicopter' and spent the rest of the post laughing.

Some black people can be surprisingly light skinned, or she may be mixed race but they are calling her black (which I find a touch annoying - Obama is mixed race yo!). I myself am quite light skinned (I am mixed race) but there ain't much sun in the Surrey countryside when I grew up :p

EDIT - is that her? Woa we got a Rachel Dolezal!!!

Yeah, my mother is super light, light enough to pass for white most the times

Well this should be entertaining! SJW overload, just what the NUS needs.

Tommy K

I love how the headlines across the lamestream media is "First black Muslim NUS president" as if it's a victory for cultural-marxism. It's only when you read the article that there's a single sentence about her support for the Islamic State :rolleyes:

This is why you should never deprive a pregnant woman of all the nutrients she needs. She'll end up with kids with underdeveloped brains, like this woman.

One of my colleagues refers to herself as brown and is upset that I'm browner than her.
When I asked her a bit back why she refers to herself as brown she pointed to another colleague and said 'She is black, we Asians are brown".
I often wonder who came up with the word black to point out everybody else except whites - probably a white person.

Evidently one of our resident OcUK nuts decided to have fun. :p

Wanna quote that sentence?;)

All I see is...

A student criticised for not supporting a motion condemning the so-called Islamic State has been voted president of the National Union of Students.

But the NUS says Malia Bouattia was disputing the wording of the motion and not the principle - and backed a later condemnation of the terror group.

In October 2014, Ms Bouattia rejected a motion put forward by other students to condemn the so-called Islamic State group.

The NUS says that this was a dispute over the appropriateness of the wording.
"Some committee members felt that the wording of the motion being presented would unfairly demonise all Muslims rather than solely the group of people it set out to rightfully condemn," said an NUS spokeswoman.

The NUS says a subsequent motion condemned "the politics and methods of ISIS" and that this re-worded policy was supported by Ms Bouattia.

"NUS does not support ISIS and has always condemned violent terrorism," said a union spokeswoman.

In fact there seem to be whole paragraphs telling us just the opposite...;)

Not backing a motion does not mean you support IS... Except in Scorzas world.:p

Please define 'cultural-marxism' and give six examples from the last 5 years.

Anything that undermines the four building blocks of western civilisation - Family, Religion, Nation, and Property. So six examples off the top of my head:

- #RefugeesWelcome;
- Buy-to-let phenomenon;
- Prosecution of Northern Irish bakers for refusing to make cake with pro-gay marriage message;
- Continuing transfer of sovereignty from nation states such as the UK to supra-national entities like the EU;
- Promotion of transgender identity to children;
- Invention of new reasons to feel oppressed e.g. cultural appropriation.

isnt that just full on capitalism>

Maybe, what's your point? Western economic success has always been built on mixed economies not full-on capitalism. Who benefits the most from full on capitalism? Ultra-rich cultural marxists like George Soros and Rupert Murdoch.

so based on this your anti muslim/ISIS stuff is an example of cultural Marxism?

Surprised it took so long for someone to come back with that. Yes, on the face of it this would be a bit of a dichotomy. People who I'd regard as cultural marxists tend to be all in favour of encouraging Muslim immigration to the West, and won't tolerate any criticsim of Muslim communities. Two thoughts: importing people who see themselves as followers of a religion before they are citizens of any nation helps to undermine the concept of nationhood. Secondly, the Islamic terrorist attacks actually serve to undermine all religious worship. Check out any thread here in the wake of a terrorist atrocity, you'll read plenty of "ban all religion", "tee hee sky pixie" replies. Look how popular useful idiots like Richard Dawkins have become since 9/11.
