Lets say AMD vs Nvidia which deal would you really pick

Just no. Your question is bad.

I have a PLS 1440p 100Hz monitor with dual dvi. So the choice is nano on a cheap 60Hz 1080p tn screen or 980ti on my current amazing screen.

OP picks least expensive Nano but then a £575 980ti...

Im out . You can smell the bias from miles away.

This thread is pretty stupid but your comments are even more so.

It's only a £10 difference between the cheapest and most expensive nano (not including water cooled versions) Because all Nano's are the same.

Whereas with the 980Ti, he picked a price smack bang in the middle of the cheapest and most expensive. Which is probably the fairest way to pick as all 980Ti's are not the same, they have different clock speeds and coolers.

What makes your comments even worse is that even if he picked the cheapest 980Ti, the Nano+freesync option would still be cheaper.

Maybe the Bias you smell is your own?

You're also missing the point, From this aspect it's not about what you can get it's about the offered value that having a capable card and a freesync monitor offers over the price of just the card. But in truth you could probably match the deal by going for a 970 and the cheapest g-sync monitor and again you'd be in a situation of is the Nano going to offer a better deal if you don't sit staring at the fps counter, Answer, No.

In truth the whole opening post is very loaded.

I'd go for the 970 with all those freebies along with a 1080 gsync monitor.

Remove the freebies and I'd get a 390 with equivalent free sync monitor.

See, He get's it, There's no right answer just a thread guaranteed to start the day's squabbling.

Of course none of the above. Why would anyone buy less than a Titan X/Fury x these days. They must be poor and of lower class. What was I thinking.

Who would buy a Nano to drive such a bad monitor?

What is the point you are trying to make with these questions?

The Nano and 980Ti are really for different situations. And they are in different performance categories.

I know very few people who buy only AMD or only Nvidia.

None of the options on your poll make any sense. So you would need a fifth option, none of the above.

This looks like a troll thread from a forum member that, going by their recent posting history, appears to have views that aren't based in fact they're willing to demonstrate and enjoys winding up other forum members. Quite entertaining really!

Ha, dont be so naive. OP is pretty much trolling with this thread and it will only end one way (ie closed)

Also the cheapest 980ti would be cheaper and would surely be a fairer comparison as it has a reference cooler and reference clocks like the nano:confused:

Where am I been naïve?, as I said, the thread is stupid.

I would get the 980ti if I was rich enough, but I'm not hence the poor setup I have now lol :)

It doesn't matter what you use, so long as you enjoy your gaming. :)

So true, i was gaming at one point on intel HD 530 whilst i decided which GPU to buy, and other than turning down settings, the gameplay was just as much fun as when i got my 980ti.

So your saying nano on a cheap monitor is not as good as a 980Ti. Come on man get real.

So you would not buy a nano but a 980Ti would be more to your liking.
20 to 60 FPS LOl so get of your high horse and just stop with the BS.

Here is a test I did in a few games with only 4xMSAA at 1920x1080. with 980Ti card overclocked high.On a cheap monitor.

This thread brought me genuine lols.

OP starts thread, doesn't get the response he expected, so instantly attacks anyone posting against the obvious route he wanted us to take.

I'd have the 980ti by the way, I have a monitor.
