Anyone else find the musical performance of their S7 distinctly underwhelming with decent headphones? My Sansa Clip is very noticeably better.

Just incase anyone was wondering.. Got my phone from EE which was sim locked but the mobile unlock sites can now do these fine. Took 24 hours to get unlock code but worked perfect.

If using PowerAmp, make sure you turn off the Direct Volume Control (DVC) (Poweramp Settings => Audio Engine => Advanced Tweaks) as it lowers the audio levels on the S7/edge and sounds much better when disabled

No difference in performance here, always was smooth and fast before, remains as such post update^

To be fair mrk I had been trying different Firmware versions so it was probably my own doing performance wise as Smart Maanger etc kept crashing.

Full reset and everything seems good to go now.

Nope, very easy to do. Doesn't trip the warranty flag either.

You can grab the firmware from sammobile.com and then use Odin to flash. It's pretty much a case of just selecting the files in Odin and pressing start to be honest.

Can anyone recommend a good screen protector for the edge? The cheap ones I bought from the rainy place don't seem to stay on too well. Mostly because I am constantly taking it in and out of my case and popping into the Gear Vr.

Its good enough for me, the only issue I've had is that everytime I start listening to something it blasts full volume for a split second and then its fine, not a massive issue but mildly irritating.
