A guy at my work wears above-knee shorts April-December, such is his disdain for warmth.
Today! 15c, shorts on.
My Daisy Dukes are only about 8 inches in total

In terms of cost, it has added a couple of quid to my direct debit year-round, so let's say £25 extra per year and that's been consistent for 3 years now. It's worth it I say for a bit of summer comfort. But it also works against them..Shame us guys have to wear trousers, collar/tie and shoes at work and sweat it out, where girls can get away with anything... shorter dress, open-toe, no collar/tie etc.

Wear shorts whenever you like. If you're not a girl, or a French boy, you may not wear 3/4 trousers, ever.
So this is abit of a strange one, since today is a nice bright (Albeit cool) day I was wondering when we are "allowed" to wear our shorts or 3/4 trousers. What temperature/season/month does it have to be and does there have to be a set amount of time of good weather before I can wear my shorts without criticism.
So I put it to you GD (I know I'll regret this)
When are we allowed to wear our shorts/when do you wear your shorts?
