Pulling to the left

So the car is pulling to the left, has just had 4 brand new tyres fitted, balanced, tracking done. Still pulling to the left....Where should i be looking next?
 
My old Octy VRS pulled to one side under acceleration. After some research i concluded the suspension bushes were shot. I had the main control arm bushes and another set ( cant remember what they were called) replaced and the car tracked perfectly straight after that.

So maybe try the bushes, although if it isn't only under acceleration it might be something different.
 
Constantly? Under braking? Acceleration? If it dives to one side under braking or acceleration then it's probably wishbone bushes. If it's just when driving along then get someone who knows what they're doing to align it properly. Also make sure the tyres are on the right way around/pointing the right direction
 
Worth checking the tyre pressures as well - despite being newly fitted, one or more could easily be at wrong pressure.
 
Yeah it's all the time, did get it Re tracked once by a different mechanic at the same garage, but the pull is still there, let go of the wheel andit drifts slowly towards the kerb. Does it if I have the steering wheel held dead centre...
 
Tracking or alignment? You need somewhere with a proper (Hunter for example) 4 wheel laser alignment system. If you don't have a printout of all 4 wheels with the specs, tolerances and your cars current figures then you can treat it as not being properly aligned
 
Could be top mount, wishbones, broken spring, could be loads of things even changing my drop links made a huge difference to my steering. Try get another garage to check it
 
Did they do the tracking at the same time?

Go have a look at the tyres, they'll probably have arrows for the direction of rotation or "outside" if they're asymmetric - make sure they are on the right way around. Check the pressures

If they did the tracking at the same time then they've probably messed it up

Did tyres, then tracking... They Re did it and said one wheel was out when I first took it back after driving off when it was first done. Adjusted it but still hasn't made a difference, have the printout. All green boxes...
 
So did you drive it with JUST the tyres being replaced? Does the tracking show the correct model of car?

What sort or tyres are they? I'd wager they're the wrong way around or they've messed up the tracking. It could be suspension related but unlikely given the timing and would normally happen under acceleration or braking
 
I got the tyres done, free tracking check, said it needed doing so had it done.

Then drove the car for 5 mins, could feel it pulling as soon as I was out of the car park so took it back the following morning (left as they were closing)

They put it back on the machine (4 wheel laser), checked it and said one wheel was out and they would Re align it.

Still pulling now but can't get back there till Tuesday.

Actually have to turn the steering wheel slightly to keep it straight which is a real effort
 
Im getting lost. Was the car pulling to the left before the new tyres were fitted or has this started happening since you had the new tyres/tracking done?
 
Don't take it back to the same place, they've cocked something up! You don't know if it's tyres of tracking yet but it's one of those things! Tyres you can check yourself in 5 minutes

or tie rods need adjusting. is the steering straight when driving on a straight road?

Nope, if I'm on a dead flat Road, I have to turn the wheel to the right, albeit marginally, but enough to notice, to keep it away from the kerb. I'll try getting another place to look at it if the tyres are all fitted right.
