Stamping your authority eh? That took me 5mins to create that post and 5 seconds for you to bin it. I demand compensation in the form of love.

Ta! Just ordered some of those... been needing to order some short sleeve base layers for a while now.
They're good, very light material which wicks amazingly, I've found enough warmth from them too as I generally go for a heavier jersey in the winter and then layer up with a midlayer rather than a thicker baselayer. The material itself is quite fragile and will catch easily in zips et al when washed. I imagine velcro will annihilate them so just be wary and wash them in a 'fragile' wash bag if you have one (or not with zipped/velcro'd other garments.
Will probably pick one of these up :D Thanks. I take a small in the dhb Baselayer, so I'm assuming small works here too?
They're 'Italian' sizing, I generally wear a DHB medium jersey/base and a Large Termodynamic or XL second skin in Sportful bases. Although I don't tend to wear them as skintight as the material is fragile and I'd probably rip them when removing them when quite moist! Sportful jerseys I'm between Medium/Large as they're Marginally more forgiving than Castelli (where I'm generally a Large).
I just don't want any of you guys finding all my posts on there :p

(not really)
Damn, missed to open it for my lunchtime reading but quite right to remove it... Maybe it belongs in the Pro thread for discussion?

Totally unrelated note... After my rejig of my saddle fore/aft and losing a couple of cm height last week I've noticed some ache in the rear of my thighs. Is this probably normal after a drop in saddle height & a little more forwards?

My first ride since the change was a longer one on friday where I did struggle a little with power, no issue I thought as I had done a couple of heavier weeks and there were some brutal headwinds at the start. It was a longer ride (45 miles) than usual (30-35) too. I then took 3 rest days (sat-sun-mon) due to weather and other commitments (more rest days than I normally take) before beginning commuting again yesterday. My legs may have been 'stretching' a little too much in my pedal strokes for the previous ~3-4 months (making me rock a little more on my saddle than I am now) due to it being a little high, would it be normal for less stretching during exercise to cause soreness? If anything they feel like they've stretched more than before!

As things felt no better last night I did some foam rolling and it hurt too much to continue (it usually hurts a little as I'm fairly new to rolling)!

I feel like I've done leg day with grudas! :(

Chilly but at least dry this morning. My shoes had just about dried out but my overshoes were still soaked, so I rode in without them and got cold feet and have put them in the drying room at work.

Is Spring ever going to arrive?

Exactly the same for me, plus I think my skin is still exfoliated from the hail on the way home yesterday

Woot, got the 6th of September booked off for watching the Tour Of Britain. Fourth year on the run for me! All being well I can make an imperial century out of it - get out early, go up the Cat and Fiddle, then get back in time for the finish in Tatton.

Bought an el cheapo carbon clincher front wheel for my TT bike. Luckily I shouldn't need to use it for braking much so it won't explode and kill me. :p Trying one of those Specialized Turbo tyres on it though. The packet and internet make some bold claims about it so it better be good!

I've also bodged together a GoPro mount for my Cree front light to hang that off a combined Garmin/Go Pro mount. It's not such a problem with the longer evenings but I didn't feel very confident with the light mounted on my bars, I reckon the Garmin obscured it from some angles.

I'll message some of the shop staff and ask them to include a "little of their love" with your next OcUK order if you like? ;)

I really want something like that for my Moon LX760 light. Nowhere seems to sell an adaptor and I'm not sure how confident I would be on bodging :D

What the deuce? A turbo trainer tyre on the front? :p

grudas^obiwan how should I train to get up to this kinda speed chaingang? Would 20mph avg (over an hour) solo rides be fast enough? :o

Those speeds aren't actually that crazy once you factor in the chain gang, flattish terrain and the lack of stops :)
