The astonishing thing is not only did they abandon her once but several times during the evening. This astonishing act simply gave any potential abductor who had been preying on an opportunity the perfect heads up he needed.

Also the act of "checking on something", multiple times, confirms that the persons doing the checking are aware of some sort of imminent danger otherwise they wouldn't keep checking.

I find the charade of "checking on her" absolutely outrageous. It is completely irrelevant because the frequency of "checking" has absolutely no neutralising effect on the actual causal factors involved in the triggering of the perceived imminent danger.

It is to me. When you are using this much public spending on a case, I think it's time to be more transparent with your own money first. First prove that you've exhausted your own reasonably available funds before using state money.

Obviously this shouldn't apply to cases under a certain age, but when you're knocking on a decade with no progress, that money needs to go to other parents first.

These people are seriously milking this now, and it's ****ing me off no end. Why are so many other kids being neglected yet these two somehow get shedloads of money on a silver platter? It's disgusting.
 
Ignoring the argument they had something to do with it - I'm sure if it were your kids then you'd be looking to get as much help as possible no matter how long had passed. Just ignore them and get on with your life is my 2 pence worth
 
Indeed, if they have managed to soend twelve million, quite amazing they manage to make 95k stretch for an entire six months ;)

How many police officers are currently assigned? Down from thirty to two or something?

Perhaps the Police know more than you!
Even though there isn't one shred of evidence and most stuff made up about them is myths, maybe the Police think they might get them within the next 6 months.
