Also even if we vote to leave will we get this response from the EU.....

If the in crowd cannot see what is happening here then god help us all. :(

The Queen and Royals are a different kettle of fish. They are constitutionally obliged to hold neutrality. A simple summary of what they can and cannot do is provided on royal.go.uk. Though, in places, this is by convention (but then much of our constitution is). For example, the Queen could take up one of the EU's presidencies, interestingly enough, but it would be ill-advised for her to do so, given her established relationship with the government and the country at home.

The government never had such neutrality restrictions, neither did Dave had to allow ministers to campaign freely without resigning. It's completely up to him how he chooses to intervene, and it's down to the voters at the next election to judge his legacy and that of his party.

Think most people would disagree with you. At best it's 50:50 but overall the in crowd is in majority

Not sure where you live but I haven't spoken to anyone in person yet that said they will be voting out.

I suspect a lot of out voters aren’t that active on the internet, whereas the remainers sit around unwashed in coffee shops using the free wifi between their gender studies lectures.

To have a representative sample of the British population in your social circles, you would need to be one hell of a social beast! :)

The inverse picture emerges from the polling. The phone polls rarely give Leave leads, and the Remain people are harder to reach/spam online, apparently.

We won't find out about the internal polling in In/Out camps until after this is over. But it would be interesting to see too.

Well, they are practically the party of government and opposition as it is. It'll only get worse as things develop, especially on matters of loyalty (serious business in the Tory party). Corbo might get murked too, to borrow a colourful London term, but that's less certain before a general election. Broad churches are hard to manage.

So this evening a local group went around the local estate and asked what people were voting, as one of the last houses in the estate, I asked to take a look.

In, Out, Unsure/Do not wish to say
and then put each vote into 1 of 3, Young Adult, Middle Aged, Senior

The exact numbers were not to hand as it wasnt tallied on the go but you could see a very obvious trend.

Votes to stay in were predominantly young adult, a few middle aged and a few senior

Unsure/didnt want to stay was bias towards middle aged (however only slightly), with a scattering of young and senior, however the key part was there was very few in this category of unsure compared to in or out.

The votes to leave were majority senior, and a good section of middle aged and a decent amount of young adult.

This referendum once again will be won by the silver vote. And the trend i'm seeing is that they want out.

^^^ So people with more experience in life will vote out.

No **** Sherlock the under 25's don't have a clue and the under 35's are confused.

Interesting that the dynamic is the opposite of the Scottish referendum, i.e. Older voters going with change whereas younger voters are opting for the status quo.

The majority of people my age id say are voting in as per the polls, although I'm doing my best to convince them otherwise.

It does seem strange how close the polls are. The majority I speak to are vote leave.

Same. This raises a similar question about the polls from the elections. I was asking the same question about the polls then. Leave really will take this.

I can count on 1 hand the people I've spoke to who are voting to stay in, and even then I think only 2 are certainly gonna vote the rest are out.
