Should have been on PC from the start. Hopefully they make some changes like faster moving speed, I wanted to explore but that put me off. Quite bummed me out this. Great looking game though.

It must be good if it gets a thumbs up before its even out.
Its been out on PS4 for ages was an exclusive until Sony decided to let them port to PC (which they say was the plan all along but I am not so sure  ).

Same developer as Dear Esther & same gameplay type...walking sim with pretty graphics, minimal gameplay and some sci-fi story line.

Dear Esther was £6.99 this is £15.99  Sony are also publishing this on Steam not sure if this means they are changing their stance on PS4 exclusives?

Pre-ordered on Steam.

I think this may be the first time I've pre-ordered a game since Deus Ex: Invisible War.

Hope my CPU (Phenom FX5200 - basically Athlon X2 5200+ unlocked and clocked to Phenom II x4 955-965ish equivalent) can cope though. It's really scraping the minimum spec barrel.

Why is £16 so shocking? A lot of work clearly went into it. For some reason these sorts of games always bring out the people who think they're only worth a few pounds.

You were happy to spend £45-50 on the broken mess that is Quantum Break.

Well, to be fair, it's not a long game. It's an interesting game to me though. It plays out like John Wyndham wrote a computer game, and plays like a BBC radio drama with pretty graphics. I completed it (although maybe not every story) on the PS4, so will probably wait for a sale, mainly for updated graphics. If I hadn't bought it once I'd be happy paying this full price for something pretty unique.

I got a full refund on QB as it was/is still a broken mess it did not cost me anything anyway I had the credit in my credit card from another refund.

As Rapture has about the same amount of replay value as Dear Esther & apart from the pretty gfx & mysterious atmosphere its a walking simulator so to me I expect to pay around £6.99 its not like they had to do much to port to PC the game was made on the PC first then clearly held back by Sony to make it PS4 console exclusive then when those sales were low Sony allowed it to be released on PC

So good for anyone who wants to pay £15.99 I will wait until its at least 50% cheaper as to me that's all its worth for the gameplay on offer.

Refunds aren't free money.

Why buy it at all? If you're intent on calling these sorts of games "walking simulators" it doesn't sound like you're much of a fan of the experiences they offer.

Not really sure why you take issue with Sony making it a PS4 exclusive either, considering they provided a lot of support during development. That's just how the industry works. I've seen nothing to suggest it's suffered from poor sales, quite the opposite really.

Running quite happily at 1900x1200 on medium settings (with above CPU, GTX 660 ti 2GB, 8GB RAM). Still looks very pretty.

Framerate dips too common with High - and Very High is very choppy to say the least. My guess is that textures exceed my VRAM and Very High shadows need a stronger CPU.

The in game sound and music is lovely. No surprise that it's won awards for it.

The walking speed doesn't trouble me at all.

Also, given the length of the game a faster pace would just mean a sooner finish.

Got this at the weekend. Stunningly gorgeous on the highest settings. Feels like I'm trapped in an episode of the Archers, but I'm very impressed overall.
