Evening everyone!

I'm currently really annoyed with somebody due to being scammed however what annoys me more is how much I've bought from him before and he's been a sound guy usually however this latest transaction hasn't been as smooth I will outlay everything.

I've purchased many things from him ranging from 1k PC parts to smaller items and I've met him in person and everything he works for a very reputable company so it surprises me that he wouldn't be genuine throughout all transactions.

So the latest transaction was agree'd through Facebook as I thought we were good acquaintances in my opinion however I guess not as the story thickenings.

So the deal was to purchase his Lumia 950XL with the display dock for £350 firstly however I didn't really want to send £350 on just that so asked if he would add some hardware or spare bits that he no longer needs so we eventually agree'd £350 for the phone and dock + 550w psu + some speakers and a res that he owed me before because he forgot to package it when I bought quite a few bits from him.

So low and behold I paid through PayPal Gift as I've sent him more money as a gift before and he's been solid with communications etc so I receive just the phone from Royal mail special delivery and he emailed me saying the other bits will be sent via courier about three weeks then after spamming/annoying him to send the other bits he emails saying they're going to collected by the courier on the 30th last month but the courier never collected them or he didn't go through with it so I never received the other parts which has left me rather annoyed so I went to contact him on facebook, email or steam but of course i've been blocked on Facebook and deleted off steam and he isn't answering his emails.

I realised I had his phone number from our last face to face transaction and tried to call him around 10+ times and no answer.

So basically my question to you guys is what should I do? Do I drive to his house to ask what's going on? Or do I not have a leg to stand on?

Last time I send someone money via PPG for an item 4% is worth the cost :) I did pay a portion of the payment via bank as I didn't have £350 in my paypal account so would my bank entertain anything?

Just looking for some support and wondering what you think I should do?

I thought I did,

I'm not looking for a fight :P I'm just annoyed due to my morals one half of my brain just thinks forget about it but the other half thinks why be taken as a mug?

Surely you can just contact the local police station?

You have the communications from him over what was agreed, you can prove you sent the money. Go and speak to someone about it.

Do you have mutual friends on Facebook? If so, why not post on their pages asking why your 'friend' is scamming you and blocking all contact, but in a diplomatic manner?

Unfortunately not, like we aren't friends we are simply acquaintances through the love of PC's basically
