I'm really enjoying this game obviously it has its issues , I've not really done much dz but over the last couple of days I've been trying to matchmake but I've just been getting kicked from all groups before we even start some dude actually said over voice "your probably a good guy and don't take this personal but your level is not high enough to role with us" I was abit wtf but I kind of get it but I wasted over an hour trying to find a group to run with. Is there a certain level i should try and reach on my own before trying to matchmake ?

Gearscore was the worst thing to happen to this game, well one of the worst things. It has it's pros and cons but I find most of the time when playing Incursions those with a GS less than 180 are kind of clueless unfortunately. I do give people the benefit of doubt but it just ends up wasting everyone's times when they decide to go John Rambo or not stick to the team for Incursions.

If you are on tonight I will join you though.

must be lucky that ive never been kicked from a matchmake on a daily, even guys with a 180+ seemed okay when i was down at 150 odd.

I'm bored at work and scribbling down calculations, I think I'll spend a little time tonight putting together an online calculator which should calculate your actual DPS.

Should be able to plug in damage, rpm, clip size and reload time to calculate actual DPS.

+ Firearms stat

Anyone up for farming the challenging incursion let me know, gets boring doing it solo and it's pain in the ass getting one shotted by those level 34 shotgunners when solo, makes it hard to get my loot :)

Just want to get my gear score passed 200, managed to get a 240 tacticians knee pads and 214 striker backapack so not too bad.

I'd like to do the CM Incursion to get the gear

Although the crazy DPS + Explosive bullet way looks a bit easier than the proper way lol

That's why GS is a stupid idea, there are plenty of people who have exploited their way up and are just as clueless. For example trying to kill snipers with smgs and assault rifles who are out of optimal range yet I assume because they probably have crazy dps they think they are God like.

I couldn't get that work :( was well sad :p

It's hit and miss that glitch, sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.

Maybe this will make more sense to you than me. I understand what he is trying to put across, but his calculations seem a little confusing.

Last week I decided to take a break from this game (and play DS3) until they fix things. Every time I look on here though or the Division subreddit it's like they've doubled up on the amount of fail.

I'm going to bow out until it's less of an exploiters race to the top and there's more content. If that means it ends up being permanently then so be it. it's a shame really, I had high hopes for some reason despite :ubi:.

Oh bum, I spent about 10 minutes doing that and got annoyed when it didn't work :p

Did you hit a skill like pulse and then check your weapon inventory? Only when you deploy a skill does the dps change for a brief moment.

Some have said if you switch to secondary whilst the skill is activated the dps change will stick to your secondary weapon all the time but that never worked for me.

A bug which is bugged. Who do I complain to? :p

Had a good run last night. Got all my dailies done, finished Falcon on hard for the first time, and had a bit of a runabout in the DZ as well. Got 3 pieces of striker kit now, but 2 are lower GS than my yellows, so they're not much use ATM, end up with a loss in Armour, Damage, health and skill if I equip them.

That's a problem I have at the moment. Have a few pieces of Nomad(2), Sentry(3) and Striker(3) gear, yet I can only manage to use the 2 Nomad pieces. The Striker and Sentry pieces only manage to lower my stats.

Might try and put armour together to have a strong skill build. Mods only increase by 10-15k.

That glitch.....DPStrain... I don't understand how switching the weapons like crazy actually increase it though??

I tried that blueprint glitch last night to see if it worked. You have to max out your DPS, look at the blueprint of the weapon(Navy MP5 for me 182) you have and check the DPS. Now log out and back in. The DPS on the blueprint will have risen, the MP5 went from a max 8k+>11k+. Downside being to try and match the talents on the MP5 you are using. I crafted 4 times but was short 20-30k on all 4 when modded out.

What to do next - im level 14 :)

Ive popped into the DZ and it was quite tough...

Do I just continue going on levelling up PVE?

I am not sure which weapons are worth keeping or trashing - any advice :)

Yeah I tried that, I never have much luck with stuff like that :(

What's this blueprint glitch? Sounds interesting... :D

I was considering the same but as a standalone APP, or even mobile App as a companion. Would need to either A - stop playing to make it, or B - take time off work and also try not to play the game lol!!

Would be interesting to see for sure. I am trying to ignore the in game DPS and focus on other things but its hard to not concentrate on.

Awesome, will check that out properly later.

How long did your millions of DPS last for? Surely it isn't permanent?

Ubisoft have so many things to consider when fixing this game but it wont put me off playing.

I would advise the following:

Do your side missions, encounters etc to try and get all three areas in the Base of Operations to 100%. For the main missions, invite people for them as it really helps.

Weapon and gear drops - deconstruct 80% of what you get and sell the other 20%. Deconstructing will help with crafting weapons later on in the game, and selling will help for rerolling stats on gear as that requires credits.

Obviously if you find items that are better than what you have - keep them and deconstruct or sell the older gear :)

That will get you a good amount of credits and parts for crafting.

In addition, add some people off here and we can run your main missions together to help you through parts :)

I spent over two hours last night trying to solo the hard level incursion. I found a fairly safe spot, plugged away at the enemies, got close to the end and then was hit with a delta error. I don't think I can stomach doing it again.

Can someone do me a favour... The more the better actually.

Give me the following info from your weapon and character screen:
RPM
RELOAD TIME
DAMAGE
CRIT PERCENT
CRIT DAMAGE
HEADSHOT DAMAGE
CLIP SIZE
ELITE DAMAGE
ARMOR DAMAGE

And anything else you think is relevant.

And what your dps is currently showing in the inventory. Will help me plug some numbers into this spreadsheet I have made (at work). Please put the numbers as they appear in the UI.

In theory if we can see actual DPS we can make better decisions on what mods and gear to equip.
