***** The Official Division Thread *****

God this game is broken, its like glitch whack-a-mole.

Millions of DPS can be achieved by switching weapons quickly, you can use a ahk script to do it for you.

Also working for getting credits using the prosperous gear talent, crazy how many glitches there are right now.

So over the past 2 days I've attempted to run incursion about 9/10 times. Every single open group I have joined has immediately gone for the latest 'ladder glitch'.

Not one group has attempted to run it normal. I've tried twice and been kicked from the group and anyone else I've seen try run it normal has been kicked by someone else.

I've ended up just rolling with it the past two times and getting a couple of 240 items but even in a 4 man group on Challenging you're looking at 60-90 minutes of just continuous triage and sticky bomb.

Massive really need to fix this, my solution would be either the APC becomes immune to sticky damage or that it can be healed by a med station which an NPC could place to the LHS of it meaning to glitch would take several hours and just not be worth it. Alternatively just start the Incursion in front of the APC, the tunnel entrance is relatively pointless in all fairness as there's no drops and most people can sprint past it or respawn at the door anyway.

The trouble with the guys who've glitched to have full sets of tactician, sentry etc is that it has a knock on effect in the DZ where a larger than normal proportion of the player base is way too OP and it starts to become rogue central, plus they don't need to worry about DZ credits / XP as there's nothing in there for them to exceed the kit they already have.

Might have to go back to Destiny for a bit and see what's new around there.

I share your frustrations with this game.

After being a long time PC gamer focusing on MMO's, FPS's and MOBA's I came to the console to try and be more casual. Some friends already owned a ps4 and Siege so I thought why not. I then persuaded them to get division.

Ubisoft has single handedly made us return to the PC. Aware division is just as bad on the PC.. but two games out of two on the console have been buggy messes. Might as well return to the PC with games I know work and give me enjoyment...

time to sink time into BDO... farewell casual gaming.

...even in a 4 man group on Challenging you're looking at 60-90 minutes of just continuous triage and sticky bomb.

You're doing it wrong, takes 20-30 mins tops.

Can't blame the community for being all over this like a rash, one 240 drop per week from a challenge mode that resorts to cheap one shot kills to artificially inflate the difficulty.

Loving the game bar the glitches but it's really hurting for a large raid style mission.

All the negativity about the glitch in etc has sadly put me off playing any further. Shame as I feel it had potential but cannot see any longevity in it.

Sold my copy yesterday, there was potential for this to be good fun but the glitches and the poor handling of them have spoiled it.

It's been compounded by mind-boggling decisions like making crafting more difficult which only punished those who hadn't used exploits to get high-end gear already.

Truth be told, the actual core content got repetitive pretty quick and any comparisons of the late game content to Destiny's raids are pretty laughable. Destiny threw in new mechanics that required proper coordinated teamwork, the Division's end game is basically just horde mode with bullet sponges.

On the upside, I have time to get stuck into Dark Souls 3 :)

Understand those frustrated with the game. I'm still playing but I can't really defend it. The game has too many bugs right now and the incursion wasn't as good as what they promised. This combined with the poor loot system and layers of RNG make it feel very difficult to progress outside of completing the incursion. And few will bother to do it legit when it can be cheesed. Its Atheon on destiny all over again.

The problem with crafting is that it was hamfisted attempt to fix the loot problem.

Problem: Players get all their best gear by crafting. not from loot drops
Solution: Give players lots more high ends so they get lots of loot

But this hasn't really addressed the problem. Making GS182 and GS204 high ends drop like rain in the dark zone wouldn't work as everybody would be geared in GS182 stuff within hours. But equally the change didn't work and has just made yellow the new purple. Now players just roam the dark zone looking for high ends to dismantle into crafting materials.

The top tier loot (GS182 and GS204) stuff is just as rare as before, and people aren't getting it from drops. Only now they've made crafting ridiculously expensive so you can't get high end loot from drops or from crafting. I haven't seen one single piece of GS204 armor drop in the dark zone. I have one piece which i crafted myself. They need to reduce the high end drop rate. Probably drop it back to 1 in 5, and at the same time increase the chances for higher gearscore stuff to drop from DZ05/ DZ06 enemies to the point you can get a GS204 item maybe 1 in 10. This should mean one in every 50 high ends should be a GS204 item. That's two ful stash trips which is easily doable in a night. Not bad odds I'd say.

The other problem with loot drops is that with weapons, even when you get the weapon you want it can have garbage talents. They need to remove the RNG rolls from drops and make certain premade loadouts. Have one with brutal + vicious, then maybe another one for a crit heal build that boosts crit chance and heals when you crit. Do what players do and try and get a set of talents that have some synergy . Then they need to make the other perks actually useful. My M1A dropped with toxic. Its a 10 % chance to cause blindness with headshots. The only enemies this talent ever proc's on is the heavy rikers as they are the only ones that can take 10 or more headshots from an M1A. Its pointless on a sniper rifle and just doesn't work. If that talent was restricted to only drop on SMGs for example ...... Its stuff like this they need to think about to make the drops actually useful when you get them. Otherwise players will just crafting to keep re-rolling weapons until they randomly happen on one that has 2 or maybe 3 desired talents.

similar boat although I wont sell it, bu I took a break to wait for the new incursion to drop after hitting level 30 and maxing out the BoO but reading up on all this stuff has killed my enthuisasm to go back.

It's a shame, because the game is great.

Also, there's a post on reddit with a Data Mine from the source code. Here's the stuff abou the DZ03 weapons vendor. It randomly generates 2 blueprints from the following list. There's no weight on pistols / SMGs etc.. so M1A could come up at any time.

Blueprint stuff
The following blueprints are rotated on DZ03 vendor.

It would also seem from that reddit post that there is absolutely no point in scavenging whatsoever as it only increases drop chances from none named mobs.

So 15 minutes after the patch to prevent the apc taking explosive damage, there's a new glitch whereby you can get the npc's to kill the apc for you.

This game is so broken, but I'm still enjoying it. Have 4 pieces of Sentry gear now which has dropped my sheet DPS by about 20k but I kill stuff way quicker now. A group of 4 manhunt rogues were down before they knew what hit them last night (and I went up from 62 to nearly 64 from all that lovely DZ xp) :)

His post doesn't make sense and I'll believe it when I see it.

He's already been prooved wrong on loot tables (there's a 1.1 branch that modified them that he hadn't spotted) and he's been prooved wrong with the DZ03 safehouse BP rotation also. I've posted the amended correct info above. Don't read too much into this. People have run hundreds of chests and recorded the results / before & after scavenging increase and have a repeatable statistically proven increase from scavenging. It was only last week reddit was sure that scavenging reset after 100 %. Now we're sure it doesn't work ..... Its all just guess work.

Meh, I've always had really low scavenging and never had a problem with drops. It's not a stat I give any credence too anyway.

Had to start work now so not been able to keep up with the reddit thread, thanks for the update!

wants firstwave m1a...

No AK this time so guess I have to find a low level ACR and Lightweight M4 to see what AR I like the best

When i logged on yesterday, a message popped up saying there would be a reward at the reward claim vendor for the recent issues. When i checked him out there was no reward there lol. FML.

Tactical ACR and super 90 on DZ03 hmm dunno if that's an upgrade on my black market ak.

Aug(poor crit roll) with decent rolls and a crap m1a on the special vendor tho!!!!
