Just went for a blast again, was sitting reading the books and needed to have another go. Down towards a place I know well, suddenly notice yellow thing across road **** speed camera.....brakeeeeeeeeee
Luckily average speed camera, so pooled for the next 2 miles to the next one, then spun around and went back the same way to ensure I didn't mist the 3rd one. Luckily there were 2 and between them I was 45mph in a 50

I really like the R8 - I know for some it's a bit marmite - and v10's sound sublime.
Your GT3 was a 996 wasn't it ? I still dream of a 996 GT3 RS (blue detailing if you may be so kind) but alas it looks like another car that's started appreciating at a maddening rate.... Just like the NSX !
