Has anyone had their controllers L2 / R2 become stuck? It doesn't happen with every press but it does happen often enough to be an issue in having.

My L2 button is doing this and because I play Rocket League at the moment, sometimes it will stick me in reverse. I do have a spare controller which is fine but I like to charge one while I use the other.
 
There are 2 small plastic things (lugs?) on the triggers which hold the spring and trigger in place. They can break quite easily and the trigger will stick for a while then it will eventually be unusable. I bought new triggers which were quite easy to replace. I blame Bloodborne!

Might not be the same thing but it could be.
 
Just got the Saints Row Metro Double Pack from the PS Store. Its Saints Row IV and Gat Out of Hell, plus Metro 2033 and Last Light Redux. For £15.99. What a bargain! :D

I'm also tempted by Max Max for £14.99.

So ****ing cheap of Sony to make those plastic - was annoying to have that in one of my launch controllers - I blamed Driveclub :p

Anyone on the ME beta? Was playing it yesterday and enjoying what Ive played but the art style and that minimalistic look from the original seems to have gone missing - just looked so cluttered

Not sure what to make of ME tbh. Only played it for 45 minutes or so but it didn't excite at all.

Playing Mad Max at the moment and I'm enjoying it a lot. My son convinced me I'd like it and he was right. The fighting is simplistic but quite satisfying. The driving is fun and the upgrading of Max and the cars is pretty cool too. I thought I'd hate it but I was wrong.

I played the mirrors edge beta, I really enjoyed the missions I got to play before it stopped me progressing... But if didn't enjoy the frame stutter or the cut scenes dropping and stuttering frames.. I would say that's something they'll fix.

I also found it annoying that red squares for time trials for other runners would just keep popping up. But other then this, I liked it..
 
I liked it but not as taken as the first. The audio and music was a lot better on the first the theme tune was superb....


It's a wait and see rather than pre-order for me....

Was playing more of this and the issues I have are the load times and the hand holding runners trail (which takes you past mission objectives if you arent careful) - had a dead drop and just kept failing because I couldnt see where the mission end was as it in the sunken roof of a building...

The cut scenes frame rate is so bad

that was one of the better theme tunes to come out in quite a while. Mirrors Edge was a great game. Played it when I was more into PC gaming then Consoles at the time, but still a great game.

I think the combat in Mirrors Edge Catalyst was very good mind.
 
Really not happy with this newer ps4
Supposed to be quieter? My backside!

Just at the menu screen, doing nothing using one of those decimel iphone apps

Only had it 2 days might have to take it back
As soon as i start a game it starts, then once i exit the fans stay like that for ages

Edit:
Cut the back out of my tv unit, it some cheapish ikea besta unit
I noticed that the back of the ps4 was right up against the backboard
So cut the back out with a stanley knife (other named knifes are available)

And played for one hour solid and it never went above 54db
Whereas before the fans would kick in straight after the disc had finished spinning, so i am hoping it is that was the issue
