People have already highlighted a bath scene in a past episode were she was young minus the necklace. Dodgy continuity. My first thought was , what a perfect set of thrupny bits.Ed: Before the necklace was removed I might add :)

This has been answered it's not a continuity error, she mentions the potion and you don't want to touch that one to Stannis wife, also if you go back and watch that scene as if his wife can see Mel for what she really is (i.e old) but we see her as 'normal' it makes sense when she states she doesn't have to use magic around her and why his wife keeps looking away partly in disgust.

What a perfect set of boobs, what a horrible nightmarish ending.

I'm still shuddering.

Think this is the first time I have ever said it but...hurry up Monday.

Who is Ollie, pardon my being dim?

How did the sand snakes end up on the boat in Kings Landing harbour with the young Dornish Prince, I'm sure we left them on the shore at the end of season 5?

I didn't notice the hounds with Sansa but good call.

It was quite a bitty episode but we had to see updates on most threads I suppose, I'm looking forward to the first themed episode.

But I genuinely enjoyed it.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the Castle Black plot moves forward.

Also the Cersei carnage that the trailers seem to suggest might be fun. Nuttier than squirrel poo but drives the plot nicely.

They have done a great job with the followers of the Seven I really find them distasteful and want to see them get their comeuppance.

Also, and I know this is dreadfully conventional, but could we have a few more heroes. I know it's a GoT thing that 90% of characters are evil or anti-heroes but a bit of light in the World would be nice. I kind of miss Stannis utterly flawed but honourable man that he was, well acted too.

Ah, thanks for this.

What a load of drivel that was. The characters stories are so strung out that I've got barely any idea of whats going on any more.

Made me rage when 'important chap on a horse no.1431' , stopped, looked down and saw the ring. WOW, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF THAT!

Also made me rage when no penis boy tried to save hot annoying important daughter by giving himself up. And the arrival of big brutal girl warrior who saved the day. GOOD TIMING! Where did the dogs go?

And why is unmemorable young daughter blind?

They need to cull some characters.

It confuses me that people 6 seasons in still cannot name characters. I've read the books so it's easier for me but even so.

That's Ser Jorah Mormont and the ring was dropped right in the centre of the circle the Khalasar made, so is it a surprise he found it? That's the very reason she dropped it.

No penis boy is Theon Greyjoy, or Reek, depending on your perspective. He would currently do anything to save Sansa after he screwed the Starks over previously and is starting to remember who he is. That big brutal girl warrior has been on Sansa's trail for 4 seasons or so, it's hardly a surprise she finds her when she knew she was in the castle. The dogs disappearing is annoying.

Unmemorable young daughter is one of the best characters in the show. Arya Stark, Cat of the Canals, Arry, Lumpyhead, Arya Horseface, Arya Underfoot. She is blind because she overstepped boundaries and needs to learn.

Anyone not following it at this point needs to either watch them all again, read the books or give it up as a bad job :D

If you've watched it regularly it's not that hard a programme to keep up with, your points raised show that you haven't done this or didn't pay enough attention as they are all covered by fairly large plot points.

You mean Jorah Mormont, one of the main characters from the first season through to now?! Finding the ring was lucky although it was sitting plum in the middle of the one bit of grass that hadn't been trampled by the army that took her.

Dogs seem to be a mistake but big warrior girl (Brienne, she's only been around 4 years) spent the majority of last season outside the castle watching for hot girl (Sansa, she's been around for 5).

And why is unmemorable young daughter blind?
Arya, again she's been around for a while, was blinded as punishment for killing someone she shouldn't have.

They need to cull some characters.

You perhaps need to watch the catch up videos that have been released. It may help, it may not. You appear to be struggling...

You're blaming the show for your poor memory?

Thanks for clearing up some points folks.

However, someone mentioned that I don't watch the programme 'regularly'. That is a slight problem when it's not on TV for nearly a year! End of Season 5 was in June last year! :) I've watched all the episodes as soon they've come out since season 4 I think. I binged the first 3 (which I seem to remember as being the best of the bunch).

I get the plot points mostly. But I'll be the first to admit that I struggle with names, not only of people but places too. And when people have loads of names, such as Kaleesi or Arya, that doesn't help.

I just think it's all getting a bit contrived, and would benefit from a stronger narrative if the show spent more time with fewer characters in an episode, rather than drip feeding bits of the plot for each of the characters.

I felt the same when season 4 began, after watching all 3 seasons before. I then went back and binged all 4 seasons before season 5 started and everything was so much clearer because a) you knew what was happening to who and b) the names stuck more second time round.

Agreed on all counts. If you're not taking simple things in such as the names of the characters, then you're missing all the intricate plot points, foreshadowing and character development.

You should start from S1E1 again if this is you, and give it your full attention.

I struggle with names but i struggle with them in real life too :p

I've read the books and watched the show but with such a vast array of characters I struggle with putting names to faces at times, not the main cast but the secondary characters at times confuse me :p
