Unfortunately not, I'm way, way off, it would actually be less than 43!

That warning label isn't necessarily as wrong as it first seems. It usually says "may contain nuts", not "contains nuts". Facilities where peanuts are processed and packaged often also process and package nuts, so there is a possibility that some small amount of nuts might have ended up in a packet of peanuts, maybe.

I would laugh if that happened.

If they wanted to go a bit further, they could give them about 5500 bananas. That would be about a kilometre of bananas. Since they didn't specify a unit of measurement, it could be any one.

I've seen a few that specifically say "contain nuts", no may about it. That said I understand why it says it... Doesn't mean it's not factually wrong though. Same with the banana issue. :D

If the Book I was bought for Christmas is to be believed you can make a jet pack from AK-47s.

Plus the pools that nuclear power stations store spent fuel rods in are surprising safe to go for a swim in, as long as it is deep enough.

Light slows down when it's not in a vacuum and travelling through a medium like air. Surprising how many people think it's a constant. The only constant light in my life is the boiler indicator. When that goes out end times will ensue.

I don't count that as slowing light personally but rather slowing wave propagation. Splitting hairs when talking about every day application but mathematically it can make all the difference.
