Hi all,
Recently purchased an item off 'the bay' and it's turned up (what i can only assume as being) faulty - i've done the usual of testing it on multiple systems, OS's, different USB cables, software (DAW) and driver versions and it's not responding what so ever.
The item was listed as 'No returns accepted' with the description -
The item was sent second class (2SP; which is second class small parcel iirc) wrapped inside a TKMaxx bag and packaged in a typical post office bubble envelope - it's a reasonable sized piece of hardware (weighs just over a kilo), so i did assume it'd be packaged a bit better.
This being my first ever issue with 'the bay' (as a seller and buyer) in the 10+ years of having an account, where do i stand on getting a refund considering they listed it as 'No returns accepted'?
Secondly, what's the procedure for getting a refund?
Obviously contact the seller first and see what they response is but in the case they're happy to refund do they just refund via PayPal (how i paid) and then i post the item back (more than happy to do this obviously)?
Otherwise, what's the best method in the event they say no - am i better to escalate it via 'the bay' or PayPal? And then is it just the case of waiting and seeing what they say?
Much appreciated for any advice

I haven't connected it for a while so i don't know if it works or not but has been always in storage so with the right driver it should.
