What have you done to your car today?

Washed and polished and cleaned the interior aswell. Put this up for sale today:

It had an MOT, not a single advisory in 7 years which is pretty impressive given that it's had nothing done to it (other than service items) for 2 years.

I also washed it for the first time in months. Looks not bad for a 13 year old shed.

Lost interest in cars for a while, but I've got 1700 miles worth of driving up to the Scottish Highlands and back in August so that's prompting me to change in the next couple of months. I'll miss it though.

I admire the fact that you have kept the same car for so long. I get itchy feet after about a year and always have done. Looks to be very tidy as well

I sold it a couple of months after that, had this 5 years.

It's done a job and helped me save money, now I'm resenting spending it.

Amazingly the red Fiesta is still on the road, passed an MOT in Feb (with a rather large advisory list) and someone has put about 30,000 miles on it since!

Looks fantastic that! good luck with the sale...what are you replacing it with?

I fitted some 500 sport tail lamps which have a black outer edge, minor detail.

And a set of black rear badges, instead of the factory chrome.

Broke it!

Swung right before I reversed into my drive...saw what could have been smoke or steam coming out from under the bonnet. I **** it as I've got gearbox whine from my crap gearbox and another noise that I haven't tracked down yet(possibly wheel bearing or the bearing that supports the drive shaft, if that's a thing).

Popped the bonnet and a yellowy substance was ****ing off the manifold, kitchen roll to stop it catching fire incase it was fuel....expansion tank ended up empty so luckily it was just coolant.

Took off some of the intake to get more access and I think it's only the coolant return feed for the turbo. Hard brittle plastic compared to the rest which is all rubber.

Think it's about £20 and then the price of coolant, which needed changed anyway.

Soul.Survivor, whats the spec on that and if it's supercharged do you wanna swap for my BM lol

57 Reg, Full Service History with only 36k mileage. Car is in immaculate condition inside and out. Has basic upgrades like Hel braided brake lines all around, Michelin pilot super sports all around, Balance shaft delete kit, FD2 oil pump and baffled sump. This is my old one if you remember, had a jackson charger on it. :)

civic looks mint for a 9 yr old car

It's immaculate :)

I'm a Type R enthusiast mate. Have got another one for my daily and I've also got a 470 Bhp Super charged one. I'm slowly getting rid of all of them as I'm planning on getting a R35 GTR later on this year :)

I thought it was your old one, didn't it have some Mugen bits on? Looks very clean, you'll sell that easy with such low mileage! I still like the idea of one but I wouldn't want to sell my motor for less than I paid so soon but need go get it checked out as I think I have a timing chain issue, well not so much the chain but the guides :/ lol I hate cars.

Gave it a quick 2 bucket wash and Aquawax. Noticed it's covered in tar spots (it's silver) but as there's roadworks everywhere here it's a bit pointless cleaning them off. Plus it's far too hot out there!

Busy day ahead so far. Need to look at all 3 cars:

Fiesta needs an occasional start issue looking at. I took it for a 60 mile blast last night, got home, turned it off then went to fire it up again 2 minutes later and it struggled to start so I need to investigate that. It's still got its original nearly 7 year old battery so I'm hoping it's that but I don't know. Multimeter is waiting.

S-Max needs the bonnet catch looking at. If I pop the bonnet it's a nightmare to get it closed again so that's not ideal.

320d needs some stone chip touching up done to it and a coolant change.

All fun and games, but at least it's a good weekend for it.

Needed doing.
